4th of July Nail Art x 4!

Posted on Jul 1, 2013

Hi guys!  Today, I have 4 different manicures I was trying for the 4th of July!  I rarely get to do nail art but I wanted to fit some in before the 4th of July!  As I’ve said in the past, I’m not the greatest at nail art but I definitely like to try it!  I hope you guys enjoy these!  Sorry to those of you who don’t celebrate the 4th but I hope you like these too!

For the first manicure I used OPI “OPI… Eurso Euro”, Essie “Snap Happy”, Essie “Blanc” and Lynnderella “The Stars In Her Eyes.”  This is my first time wearing “The Stars In Her Eyes” and I have no idea why.  Teeny tiny baby stars and crazily holographic!  Simply amazing!  I thought it was the perfect polish to use for The 4th!

For this manicure I wanted to do a pretty, summery plaid design with a 4th of July theme!  I really like how it turned out, even though my stripes aren’t perfect!  I need to invest in some stripers or something.  I used OPI “OPI… Eurso Euro”, Essie “Snap Happy”, Zoya “Rocky”, Orly “Shine” & Essie “Blanc” as the base.  I also added a little holographic star to amp up the 4th of July factor!  I got these loose glitter stars from a lovely lady named Cassie who I met through Instagram! (Follow her for some stunning nail art!  Her IG name is @cassgooner!)

For numero tres I did a splatter manicure with a striped accent nail!  I do love splatter manicures and need to do them more!  I used OPI “Swimsuit… Nailed It!”, Butter London “Knees Up”, Orly “Shine” and Essie “Blanc.”

And lastly, I had to do a stars and stripes manicure!  I free-handed the stars (can’t you tell? LOL) and used the same striped accent nail from the previous manicure and also used the same polishes!  I really liked how this one turned out! :)

Do you guys have your Independence Day manicures picked out?  For those that don’t celebrate the 4th of July, can you see yourself doing any of these in different colors?  I’d love to see all of your manicures! :)
