All That Glitters: Bitter Hearts Collection
Hi guys! Tonight I have 6 out of 12 of the polishes from All That Glitters’ Bitter Hearts Collection!
“Go Away” has a sheer pinky peach base with gold, red and pink circular glitter and tiny gold shredded glitter. The formula was great on this and the glitter was suspended well and easy to get out. It was my favorite of the bunch! This is 2 coats over Deborah Lippmann “Love Shack.”
“Heart Burn” has black, white and iridescent glitter and silver holo micro bars in a bright pink jelly base. I really didn’t like this one. The glitter sunk really badly and when I left it sitting upside down for a while and then flipped it over to use, I had to work really fast before the glitter sank again. The white hearts almost look like they were supposed to be pink but bled into the base. I don’t think that’s the case but it just looked that way. In the end, I still didn’t like the way it looked. This is 2 coats over Sation “Hot 4 Teacher.”
“It’s U Not Me” has a sheer dark murky purple base with pink, dark purple and light purple hexes and dark pink microglitter. Love the shade of purple the base is. The pink hexes were really hard to get out. I don’t even see one on my nails. Even without them, the polish looks nice. This is 2 coats over China Glaze ‘Jungle Queen.”
“Just Lust” has a neon pinkish purple jelly base (or purpley pink, I can’t decide how to classify it. LOL) with iridescent hexes, bars and microglitter. I like that the iridescent glitter is obvious in this. It seems like a lot of the time, it tends to disappear on your nails but this really stands out. The base color is stunning too! So unique! This is 2 coats over Color Club “Ultra Violet.”
“Outta Here” has black and white hexes and bars with pink and purple microglitter in a clear base. This one was cute and has good glitter pickup and suspension. I think I’d prefer it layered over something else but I couldn’t figure out what to layer it over that wouldn’t make the glitter disappear. Maybe a blue next time. This is one coat over OPI “Color So Hot It Berns.”
“Shoo” has a blue shimmered purple base with turquoise, aqua and light blue hexes as well as purple bars. Good formula and glitter pickup here. This one is a bit frosty but not bad enough that I hate it. I like the mix of colors here. This is one coat over Zoya “Mira.”
