Candy Lacquer: Valentine’s Day 2016 Collection Swatches & Review
Hi again! I hope your week is starting off well! Today I have a belated but pretty post for you today! This little collection comes from Candy Lacquer and was released for Valentine’s Day this year. Let’s have a look!
“Sweetie Pie” is a thermal that changes from nude while warm to a dusty rose color while cold with scattered holographic shimmer and gold, rose and light pink glitter. It comes with a little bag of gold holographic hearts. 3 coats.
“Sparks Fly” is a thermal that changes from a light gray blue while warm to a perfect denim blue while cold with a scattered holographic shimmer and pastel glitter bits. It comes with a bag of silver holographic hearts. 2 coats.
“It’s Complicated” is a thermal that changes from dark charcoal while cold to medium gray while warm with purple, blue and navy glitters and a scattered holographic shimmer. It comes with a little bag of purple holographic hearts. 2 coats.
“Electric Valentine” is a thermal that shifts from brick red while cold to bright cherry red while warm with an array of light purple and red glitters and a scattered holographic shimmer. This also comes with a little bag of hearts, this time holographic red ones. I did 3 coats here for extra depth but you can get by with just 2.
“Sugar Shock” is a glitter topper with different colored bright and neon glitters in a clear base. There are lightning bolts, mini hearts, circles, hexes, triangles and squares! It’s like an 80s party on the nails. One dabbed coat over OPI “She’s A Bad Muffaletta!”
Great formula on These, especially the thermals. You get good glitter pickup and distribution without any manipulation. “Sugar Shock” does require a bit of dabbing to get the glitter placed nicely but it’s still relatively simple to apply.Provided For Review
