Color Club: Spring 2013 Halo Hues
Hellllooooo! Today I have Color Club’s Spring 2013 collection of holographic polishes. I’ve been waiting for some decent sunlight to swatch and photograph these and we finally got it! Yay! My light box just doesn’t do holo polishes justice. I still haven’t even swatched the Fall ones! >.< One of these days I will get to it! All of these have amazing formulas. So easy to polish with, coverage was excellent and they were all awesomely holo!
I am also trying out more serious watermarks because I’ve had some of my photographs stolen lately and I’m hoping it will deter people from doing so. I may change them after a while, but I’m seeing how I like it for now. If you have any feedback on it, I would love your input, so leave a comment below or feel free to email me. :)
“Beyond” is a black linear holographic polish. I feel like it’s hard to find black polishes that are really holo but also look black. They usually play against each other. While this isn’t the most holographic of the 6, it is still amazingly drastic for a black holo. It was almost a one coater but I used 2 coats for the photos.
“Cosmic Fate” is a gorgeous dusty orange polish with a linear holographic effect. This was the most holographic of the bunch and my favorite! Yep, obsessed. This is 2 coats.
“Eternal Beauty” is a bright purple polish with a linear holographic effect. This is a stunning shade of purple. Just beautiful. This is 2 coats.
“Kismet” is a pale gold linear holo with green undertones. It looks more gold in the bottle but you could see the green undertones on the nail. This is 2 coats.
“Miss Bliss” is medium pink linear holographic polish. I mean seriously. Can these be any more beautiful? I’m really impressed. This is 2 coats.
“Over The Moon” is a cyan linear holo. This shade of blue is seriously breathtaking. I think I may have gasped when I started polishing. This is 2 coats.
Color Club polishes can be purchased at a few different places including Llarowe.com, Transdesign.com & Rite Aid.
