Today I have CrowsToes’ Valentine’s Collection for 2013 to show you. I got these the day before Valentine’s Day, so I didn’t have time to swatch and post them. But better late than never for these pretty babies! Another out of this world collection by CrowsToes!
“Umm, No… He Went To the Pawn Shop” has copper, gold, teal and iridescent glitter in a clear base. This is the most interesting mix of colors I have ever seen. This is sooooo not my cup of tea and yet, I’m obsessed with it! It’s just so interesting to look at. This is 2 coats over Deborah Lippmann “Hannah.”
“Love Stinks” is a color shifting polish that goes from bright blue to bright pink. I always feel like once you’ve seen a color shifting polish, you’ve seen them all and I never get too worked up about them. But holy crap! This is thee most gorgeous thing I have ever seen. Usually when I swatch a polish, I take it off almost immediately when I’m done photographing it, but this one I kept on for an extra 30 minutes just analyzing it from every angle and in every type of lighting I could find. It. Is. Amazing. These pictures do nothing for it. In real life, it’s breathtaking. The GIF at the bottom was taken with my phone in dim lighting and it shows the shift more than I could capture it in my lightbox, but it still does not even compare with how it looks in person. This is 2 coats over Sally Hansen “Onyx” but I’m pretty sure that it could be opaque on it’s own with a couple more coats.
“Heartshaped Box Of Horse Shit” has brown and copper hexes and squares with red mini hexes and glitter in a clear base. The name of this makes me laugh! I love it! My parents gave me such a potty mouth so it amuses me! LOL! Another polish with such an interesting mix of colors! It may be named after horse shit but there is nothing shitty about this polish! This is 2 coats over Deborah Lippmann “Jessa.”
“Heartless” is so incredibly holo. It is jaw dropping in person. It’s got an array of berry colored glitter (dark purple, red, dark pink, etc.) in a clear base. You guys have to see this in person to believe it. I wore this by itself and it’s opaque in 3 coats. I think I would have preferred it layered though.
