Hi guys! So, on Friday, I had a bit of a freakout. But for a good… actually really good, reason!
Let me start by saying, I have loved Deborah Lippmann for a couple of years. “Across the Universe” was the polish that started my whole polish addiction. I love everything about the brand and about Deborah Lippmann herself. I idolize her so hard! I could only hope to be as amazing as she is one day! So, basically, she is my Justin Bieber (or whatever the kids are into these days?)
So, Friday is going like any other Friday and I saw that Queen Deb started following Ommorphia Beauty Bar on Instagram and I was so excited for her! I said something like, if she followed me, I would die! And then a lovely girl named Elizabeth commented and said, Valesha, she IS following you! And I went ballistic! I stopped what I was doing, I couldn’t focus. I mean, this was the holy grail of followers (I love all my followers but… D.E.B.O.R.A.H. L.I.P.P.M.A.N.N.)!!! I can’t even tell you what this means to me. To put it in perspective, I love Britney Spears also, have been a major fangirl of hers for yearsssss! This was equivalent to Britney Spears following me (she does on Google+, GO ME!) Just amazing.
Anyway, I own so many Lippmann. I mean look at this:
This doesn’t even include topcoats, basecoats or other treatments. I’ve added 2 since this picture and I have 4 of the new ones on pre-order and I’m sure I will be getting at least 9 more in the coming months with the crazy beautiful polishes she’s releasing. In my eyes, she does no wrong. So, I decided I needed to honor this spendid occasion with a couple of Deborah Lippmann swatches! So here we are!
“Mermaid’s Dream” is a cult favorite of the Lippmann brand. If you don’t know about this polish, then you aren’t a true polish addict. LOL! It’s so cutting edge and interesting and GORGEOUS. It’s got this beautiful shimmered seafoam base with bits of blue, gold and green glitter and it just shines so beautifully. This is in my top 5 must-have Lippmann’s. This is 2 coats by itself.
“On The Beach” is a pretty aqua colored creme. A complete dream to apply. I love how it’s super pigmented without staining like crazy like some really pigmented blue polishes do. There isn’t much to say about this except that it’s perfect. 2 flawless coats.
Deborah Lippmann Polishes can be purchased at a number of places including Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Barney’s, Holt Renfrew, Ulta and plenty of online retailers. Every girl should at least own one, or if it were up to me, all of them. :)

Valesha, can I just say that I love your blog!! I began following you on instragram and I am so glad you decided to start blogging!!
Now, as for the Deborah Lippmanns, I totally agree! I only have about 10 of them but I really do love them all! She is very innovative and no one can duplicate her polishes! Amazeballs!! I have both of these colors and love them! I haven’t yet swatched “On the Beach” but this makes me want to! Lol
Damn girl, that’s a nice stash! Deborah Lippmann is crazy expensive here so I just own a few unfortunately.
