Femme Fatale Cosmetics: Opalescent Collection Swatches & Review
Hola! I’ve got some Femme Fatales to share today! I believe this was a limited edition collection when it was released, unfortunately. I just can’t resist sharing, especially in case they ever make a reappearance on their website or in a destash sometime. Plus they are pretty to look at. :) Check them out!
The White Flame has a sheer white base with a scattered holographic shimmer and opalescent glitter and shreds. I did three coats and it built up pretty well. There is still slight VNL but it’s barely noticeable.
Glimmerbreath has a sheer gray-ish white base with green and scattered holographic shimmer and reddish iridescent glitter and shreds. Like The White Flame it’s a bit sheer in two coats so I did three to almost complete opacity.
Starbrains has a sheer off-white base with scattered holographic and blue shimmer, pink iridescent flakies and matte white and pink glitters. This is the most sheer of the three so far. The VNL was most noticeable here even with three coats. So you’ll likely need to do another coat or layer this for full opacity. Pretty and ethereal regardless!
Cracked Cosmos has a dusky taupe-purple crelly base with a scattered holographic effect and iridescent copper-pink glitter and shreds. This is so delicate and seems sheer on the first coat but builds up nicely three coats.
Celestial Sea has a brownish-plum jelly base with a scattered holographic shimmer and purple, pink and indigo flakies. It’s a bit sheer still in two coats but perfect in three!
As I said, I believe this collection was limited edition. :/ Sorry to be such a tease!
