Guest Post: Paulina’s Passions – Rose Nail Art

Posted on May 17, 2016

Hello the beautiful readers of Peachy Polish! My name is Paulina and I am here today to entertain you for a bit while Valesha is enjoying her vacation. You might have come across my blog before, but for those of you who are not familiar, I run the Paulina’s Passions blog. I enjoy doing nail art, as well as swatching pretty polishes. If you follow my blog, you will know that I have a slight obsession with rose nail art and I will not pass any occasion of making one. I prepared a simple rose nail art for today’s blog post and I really hope you will enjoy it.

I started off with a gorgeous baby blue base by Dance Legend no. 405. It’s such a gorgeous shade of blue and it’s very creamy and one of the most pigmented polishes in my collection! I applied two thin coats and top coat. After my base was dry I started making the roses. You will need a small nail art brush to make the flowers.

To make this rose nail art you will need to choose two shades of pink, white and two shades of green nail polish. I started of with a lighter pink, which was Serendipity Nail Polish Pink Poinsettia. I made rough shapes in different sizes. With a darker shade of pink (Picture Polish Mad Magenta) I made the petals starting from the middle. To make even more dimension, I took a white nail polish and made some highlights on the roses, focusing in the middle of the flowers. I finished the flowers by adding some bright green leaves. I used Nicka K no. 145 and Powder Perfect Robin Hood. I finished everything off with a fast drying top coat.

What do you guys think of this simple rose nail art? I was debating whether to make the roses on all of my nails, but I decided to go with an accent nail and I am so happy with the end result!

I really hope that you like them as much as I do. Please leave your thoughts and comments in the comment section below and if you want to see more floral nails, please visit my website at Paulina’s Passions. You can also connect with me via my social media FacebookTwitterInstagramPinterest.
