Guest Post: Wondrously Polished – Peaches for Peachy Polish
Hey everyone! I’m Lindsey and I blog over at Wondrously Polished! I am so insanely excited to be here :D We all know how great Valesha’s work and blog is so it’s an honor to get to be a part of her guest post series.
If any of you are familiar with my work, you’ll know that I love to paint floral patterns and I really struggled with whether or not I should do something like that today. There are just way too many beautiful prints to be inspired by and it was hard to say no to them. At the same time though, I wanted to step outside my comfort zone a bit and not do my standard floral look. And then it hit me! I decided to paint peaches for our very own PEACHY Polish!
Now, I know what you’re thinking…”Lindsey, that still looks like a floral print”…and I’d agree. But, those are peaches and not flowers so I’d say that counts for something ;) I was inspired by this beautiful print that I came across on Pinterest and did my own take on it. I used a base of OPI’s My Boyfriend Scales Walls and then painted the fruit and leaves with acrylic paints. Pretty straight forward!
I hope you all enjoyed my mani for today – I enjoyed painting it! I’d love to hear your thoughts :)
Thanks to Valesha for having me! You can always find me over at my blog, Wondrously Polished, or on your favorite social media site.
