Habit Cosmetics: New Neutrals Collection + Bardot & Kitten Swatches & Review
Another happy Friday to you all! Today I have some lovely polishes to show you from Habit Cosmetics! I just adore their packaging. The bamboo caps and the sleek square bottles are so chic and it just makes me happy looking at them. But let’s check out what was actually in the bottles!
“Retrograde” is a beautiful army green creme. This is so my kind of color and the formula is an absolute dream. 2 perfect coats.
“Pearl Of A Girl” has a pearly, semi-sheer white base with strong golden shimmer. Normally, I waiver on pearl finishes but this one is so elegant and beautiful. The pearl finish doesn’t look dated at all. Beautiful. 3 thin coats.
“Diabolique” is a dark chocolate brown creme. It looks like an almost-black, luscious creamy dark chocolate syrup. Yummy! Amazing formula. 2 coats.
“Nefertiti” has a warm taupe colored base with green undertones and a beautiful caramely shimmer and flakes. This is so pretty and such a lovely spin on a neutral shade. Great formula Looks patchy on the first coat but covers perfectly in 2 coats.
“Bardot” is a light pink creme. As with other pink cremes like this, it was a little problematic; streaky and patchy and sadly, not the best formula. Such a shame because the color is so cute. I did 3 coats.
“Kitten” is a beautiful bright pink crelly. Nice formula and the crelly formulation was a pleasant surprise! Squishy and cute! 2 coats.
Habit also has Strengthening Base Coat. I haven’t had enough time to see if it actually strengthens my nails but I did wear it while swatching these polishes and it was really nice. Exactly what you’d expect from a base coat; helps smooth out application of polishes and dries quickly. All in all, a great base coat! Plus it’s 5 free, just like their polishes which is great!Provided For Review
