KBShimmer: Early Summer 2014 Collection Swatches & Review

Hello hello darlings!  And the Summer Collections keep on comin’!  Today I have KBShimmer’s new collection for early Summer!

“She Twerks Out” is a gorgeous teal jelly with sparkling purple, green, turquoise and teal glitter, some of which is holographic, that dries to a matte slightly textured finish.  Amazing polish with an amazing formula!  This is 2 coats without top coat.

The next 2 photos are 2 coats with top coat.

“Too Pop To Handle” is a hot red-toned purple jelly with matte, metallic and holographic glitter in purple, blue, navy and magenta.  This one also dries to a matte semi-textured finish.  This one is insane.  So luscious and rich and bright and beautiful!  I did 2 coats without top coat for the first 2 photos.

“Partners In Lime” is a bright lime jelly with with turquoise, green gold and copper glitter, some of which is holo, that dries to a matte semi-textured finish.  Gorgeous summery green.  Great formula.  2 coats without top coat in the first 2 photos.

Lastly, 2 coats with top coat.

“Let’s Not Coral” is a smooth and creamy coral pink.  Gorgeous formula!  It’s a little on the thinner side so I suggest using thin coats to prevent pooling.  2 easy coats!

“Lo And Be Bold” is a jellyish bold royal blue.  GORGEOUS blue!  I never get sick of colors like these!  2 coats.

“Right As Reign” is a darkened indigo jelly that leans purple.  I am obsessed with this!  I think all of the purple jellies in my stash are red toned and this one is extremely blue toned!  I am so happy to add this unique flower to my stash!  Sometimes my camera doesn’t cooperate with purple polishes, so this photographed darker than it is in real life.  It’s a little more bright!  2 coats.

In the rest of the swatches in this post, the first photo is the more color accurate.  The second photo of each color was taken with flash to show off the holo effect but were not taken for color accuracy.

“In Bare Form” is a nude linear holo.  The linear effect isn’t super strong but it’s definitely there!  So delicate and pretty.  2 coats.

“Big Tan On Campus” is a toasty medium brown linear holo.  The holo effect on this is great!  Vivid and nice!  2 coats.

“Goldie Rocks” is a lux metallic gold with a linear holographic effect.  This is totally awesome!  The metallic factor just makes this and sets it completely apart from other gold holographics.  You need to see this in person to believe it.  Perfect for a night out!  2 coats.

“Run!  It’s The Coppers!” is a gorgeous copper penny metallic shade with a linear holographic effect.  So gorgeous!  Love it so much!  2 coats.

“PT Young Thing” is a silver linear holographic.  This polish is the most holographic of the bunch and it just blows me away, even just in photos!  Wait until you see this in person!  So beautiful!  2 coats.

“Stark Raven Mad” is a black linear holographic.  I love that it’s the blackest black but still obviously a linear holo.  Great polish and formula.  2 coats.
