Today I have a collection of holographic polishes from one of my favorite Instagram nail girls! The brand is called Nail Sauce and it is awesome-sauce! I did my swatches a little different for this post, my light box was just not cutting it and showing the polishes in their full glory. So these are all outside in natural light. I wish I could use natural light all the time, but we don’t get very good natural light often enough or consistently. The photos were all taken in my back yard, and I’m sure my neighbors probably thought I was a crazy person. :)
“Tiffany” has a gorgeous blue base that reminds me of the ocean with a strong holographic effect! This is probably my favorite of the four. I love me some blues! The formula was really great! Perfect consistency and went on so nice and smooth. 2 coats for opacity.
“Michelle” is a pale dusty pink with a strong holographic effect. This is really dainty but with a nice punch! The formula on this one is identical to “Tiffany.” This is 2 buttery coats.
“Bella” is a pale lilac holographic polish. This polish is much more sheer than the others. It would be good for layering! The formula reminded me a bit of the Layla holographic polishes; more sheer and requiring more coats. But that didn’t hinder my love for this pale purple beauty. This is 3 coats.
“Angel” is a platinum-y silver polish with a strong holo effect. The color is more like the second photo. A bit on the lighter side. This is also similar to “Tiffany” and “Michelle” in formula and opacity. Not necessarily a unique polish but very nice nonetheless. This is 2 coats.
The next one isn’t one that can be purchased as it was a franken made especially for me, but I wanted to show you guys how beautiful it is! Felicia, the creator of Nail Sauce, was sweet enough to include it in my package! I showed my co-workers and they said that since it didn’t have a name, it should be called Valesha, since it’s just for me. :) Thank you so much Felicia! You are a gem!
