OPI: Infinite Shine Iconic Collection Part 2 Swatches & Review
Hello hello! Today I have some “new” Infinite Shine shades from OPI to share with you. You’ve probably seen these colors in the past but they are new to the Infinite Shine line. This January they are releasing 30 iconic OPI lacquers in the Infinite Shine formulation and I have 6 of those for you today, as well as their new and improved Infinite Shine Primer and Gloss. Take a look!
Sweet Heart is a warm-toned pale pink crelly. It’s a little streaky so a light hand helps with that. I did 3 coats and it evened out pretty well. Gorgeous color though.
That’s Hula-rious! is a vintage mint green crelly. A little streaky on this one as well so a light hand helps. It evened out in 3 coats and is a gorgeous shade of mint!
Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey! is a frosty tan with silvery sparks. I don’t think I need to say it again but I hate polishes like this. If you like it, great! But not my cup of tea. 2 coats.
Do You Lilac It? is a slightly muted medium purple creme. Really nice formula and the color is lovely. 2 coats.
OPI Red is a creme the perfect shade of red with lots of warm pink shimmer. I can’t believe I didn’t own this red before. It’s so gorgeous. The shimmer in it gives it such a nice pinky feel. 2 coats but it’s a one-coater.
Got The Blues For Red is a dark vampy red creme that’s not too dark that it appears black. This is exactly why it’s one of my favorite OPI polishes, the perfect vampy red. 2 coats.
OPI is also releasing their new Infinite Shine Primer and Gloss with ProStay technology. I haven’t had a chance to do a wear test yet but here is a little information about this new duo:
OPI launces new Inifinite Shine Primer and Gloss featuring exclusive ProStay technology, providing up to 11 days of gell-like wear and shine. Offering one more full day of manicure wear. Infinite Shine utilizes a three-step system featuring a base coat, color and top coat that’s engineered to deliver pristine reults with easy, soak-free removal.
Thanks to ProStay, the updated Primer offers optimum sticking power and less chipping, while the Gloss top coat provides a durable finish with an even higher gloss retention than the previous formula. When used together to prep and protect iconic OPI color, the two new formulas allow for one more day of wear.
OPI polishes can be purchased at professional salons including Beauty Brands, Beauty First, Chatters, Dillard’s, JCPenney Salons, Pure Beauty, Regis, Trade Secret, Ulta.com and Ulta as well as a lot of other retailers and online.
