OPI: Spring 2013 Euro Centrale Collection Part 2
Now it’s time for part 2 of the Euro Centrale Collection from OPI!
“OY – Another Polish Joke!” is a warm yellow gold shimmer. It almost looks like glass fleck. This polish is quite sheer on it’s own and as you can see, my tips look patchy. I did layer it (as you will see below) and I think it works a little better that way. This is 3 coats.
Here I have “OY – Another Polish Joke!” layered over “I Saw… U Saw… We Saw… Warsaw.” I don’t think this is quite the right color combo (I’m thinking ISUSWSW is a little too dark of a base) but I do like it more than having it on it’s own.
“Suzi’s Hungary AGAIN!” is a bright warm pink leaning coral with silver shimmer. I love this one! When a pink polish can make me ooh and aah, I know it’s a good one! My camera wanted to make this look almost neon-like. It’s definitely not neon. It is very bright though! This is 2 coats.
“Polka.com” is a glitter topcoat with teal, purple and pink hexes and purple glitter. I love that OPI is venturing more into the glitter topcoat department. I absolutely adore this. The color combo is perfect. This is one coat over “Suzi’s Hungary AGAIN!”
“Vant To Bite My Neck?” is a gorgeous deep blurple. In some lights it looks blue, in others purple. The first thing I thought when I got it was that it looked a lot like OPI “Sapphire In The Snow” one of my favorite cremes and a very HTF (hard to find) polish. It’s a bit on the runny side but still easy to use. This is 2 coats.
“A Woman’s Prague-ative” is a super glowy orange shimmer with bits of gold and copper. In person, this is amazing! Eye catching for sure. I haven’t seen it in the sun yet but I would imagine it’s pretty spectacular. I didn’t wrap my tips here so my tips are sorta bald (sorry!) so make sure you wrap yours! This is 3 coats.
“You’re Such A BudaPest” is a pale purple creme with a hidden silver shimmer. I haven’t swatched them side by side but I think it’s quite possibly a dupe for Deborah Lippmann “Shoshanna” (as I had mentioned earlier.) “You’re Such A BudaPest” is a little on the runny side, like some of the others in this collection, but once again, easy to work with. I used 3 thin coats for this one.
That concludes the swatches of OPI’s Euro Centrale Collection! Are you guys feeling these polishes? I for one loved them all! OPI can be purchased at tons of different places including Ulta, AveYou.com, JCPenney, Regis, etc.
