Paint All The Nails Presents Pantone Color Of The Year

Posted on Jan 28, 2016

Hello ladies and gents!  I’m back today with another group link up with the amazing Paint All The Nails group that I’m a member of.  You may recall that each month the group decides on a theme and then we each create a nail art look based on that theme.  This month, the theme chosen was 2016’s Pantone Color Of The Year!

If you missed Pantone’s annual announcement, they actually picked TWO colors this year to celebrate and encourage gender equality and fluidity.  I think it’s a very cool and forward-thinking idea.  The colors chosen are named Rose Quartz, a beautifully gentle baby pink and Serenity, an airy lightened blue that has pretty periwinkle qualities.  The colors pair together so perfectly.

For this prompt, I did a watermarble because watermarbles are always my answer!  :)  I decided to pair it with some marbled dots that I saw Tam from @OhMyGoshPolish create, as an accent.  How genius is that!  It’s so easy and the result is CUTE!  I can’t wait to try the technique some more.  I used OPI “Suzi Shops & Island Hops”, China Glaze “Boho Blues” and Rica “Whiteout” to create this look.
