Potion Polish: Summer 2016 Summer In New York Collection Swatches & Review
Hello beauties! Today’s post features some gorgeous polishes from Potion Polish. This is the first time you’ve seen Potion Polish featured on my blog and I’m thrilled to say that we are starting off with a bang because these polishes are so pretty. I love sharing new brands with you all, even if I don’t get the chance to do it too often! Let’s take a look at this Summer collection inspired by New York!
Central Park Peonies has a creamy coral pink base with silver holographic flakies and shimmer. 2 coats.
Rooftop Movies has a cool-toned purple creme base with silver holographic flakies and shimmer and pink and purple shimmer. 2 coats.
Coney Island Coaster has an aqua crelly base with silver holographic flakies and shimmer and tons of pink shimmer. 2 coats.
Manhattan Skyline has a royal purple jelly base with copper shimmer and green to blue colorshifting flakies. 2 coats.
Times Square has a royal blue jelly base with silver holographic flakies and strong pink shimmer. 2 coats.
Overall: I found these polishes to be extremely pleasant. Formula is on point. It was on the good, thick side which is my favorite because it makes it easy to control the polishes and get it where you want it without having to manipulate it a bunch. You also get really great glitter pickup with formulas like that which is a great bonus. I also really loved the colors and inspiration for each! All around, a really nice and cohesive collection!
I’m linking up today with a fabulous group of ladies to share these swatches! If you’d like to see their thoughts and swatches of these colors, head on over to their blogs!
