Happy Christmas Eve!  Today I have Pretty Serious Cosmetics’ most recent collection to show you.

Before we get to the pretties, you might notice that I’m trying out a new nail shape.  The corners of my nails are always snapping off so I’m hoping I (and you guys) end up liking my nails this shape so that I can stop worrying about the darn things!  I’ve been inspired by Lindsey’s nails from Wondrously Polished because the shape is so pretty.  And when I visited my sister a few weeks ago, she also had such pretty squoval-like nails, so she inspired me to try out the new shape too.  Mine are still really short right now, but I think they might look a little better longer!  Or maybe I’m just not used to them.  Time will tell.  But let’s get on with the important stuff… the polishes!

“Glitz And Glam” has amazingly reflective silver and gold microglitter in a clear base.  It’s opaque enough to wear alone but it can also be layered over a base color.  Absolutely stunning.  Perfect formula.  3 thin coats here.

“Cocktail Bar” has teal, green, cyan and royal blue glitter and flakes in teal jelly base.  This is so insane.  It reminds me of one of my all-time favorite Lynnderellas, “I Don’t Mean Rhinestones” but in a luscious jelly base that really gives it extra squish.  I’m obsessed.  Really nice formula here.  This is 2 coats.

“Daphne After Dark” is like a New Year’s Eve party in a bottle.  Lots of multicolored jewel-toned microglitter shining from within a black jelly base.  So gorgeous!  It’s a little on the thick side but still easy enough to work with.  This is 2 coats.

“Red Carpet Treatment” has metallic and holographic red and silver glitter and shimmer in a squishy red jelly base.  Another absolute stunner.  A perfectly ruby red.  Nice formula.  A little thick in a good way.  I did 2 coats.

“Invitation Only” is a graphite scattered holo with loads of green and purple shimmer.  In the bottle, this looked nice but not super unique… on the nail, it wows.  What a beauty.  It has a nice formula… thick in a good way.  It’s a definite one-coater but I did 2 out of habit.

“Moments Til Midnight” has a boatload of metallic and holographic gold glitter in a beautiful sapphire blue jelly base.  Just when you thought this collection couldn’t get better, it does!  This is so insanely pretty.  It’s squishy and sparkly and awesome.  It require just a bit of dabbing to get the glitter laid out nicely but the little extra effort is worth it.  I also left this sitting upside down for a while to help the larger glitter pieces come to the top.  This is 2 coats.
