Serum No. 5: Holiday 2013 Collection Swatches & Review
Hey hey! I’m on a roll this week with my blog posts! I’m so proud of myself! LOL! I have Serum No. 5’s Holiday Collection to show you. I haven’t had time to post this collection but lucky for you, these are all polishes that can be worn year round!
“Luxe So Good” is an intense silver linear holo. There is no doubting the holo in this! Wow! Very opaque too! 2 coats.
“Gild Free” had gold glitter, shimmer and holographic shimmer in a cream colored base. This is so pretty and the formula is awesome! Just 2 coats for perfect coverage.
“Friendly Tiffs” is a pretty sky blue with aqua microglitter. OH MY! This is so beautiful! And the formula is out of this world! Pale blues like this are mostly problem children because there is usually a little bit of streakiness to deal with but not with this one! It’s so perfect! 2 easy coats!
“Girl’s BFF” is a rerelease of last year’s polish of the same name. It’s got silver shimmer, glitter bits and hexes in a clear base. One coat over “Friendly Tiffs”.
“Girl’s Gotta Eat” is the sister to “Girl’s BFF”. It’s got gold shimmer, glitter bits and hexes with silver hexes mixed in as well. One coat over Nicole by OPI “American As Apple Pie”.
“Hollydazed” is a multicolored glitter topcoat with green, fuchsia, magenta, gold and red glitter. This is really pretty! I love the sparseness of the glitter. It gives it a delicate feel. One coat over Nicole by OPI “Something About Spring”.
“Snow In Love” has cyan and navy glitter in a a white glow-in-the-dark base. It dries to a matte finish but since there is glitter in it, I put topcoat over the top for a polished look. The glow effect is incredibly strong and you can see the glow without a problem. 2 coats.
“Final Countdown” has a rainbow of glitter as well as silver glitter in a black jelly base. This one is also labeled as a glow-in-the-dark polish but I could barely see a glow in person and couldn’t capture it on camera either. Really nice formula though. 3 coats.
