The Holo Hookup: December 2016 Indie Collaboration Box Swatches & Review
Happy Monday! Today I have the last installment of The Holo Hookup for 2016! So strange that it’s already time to say that. This year just flew on by. My brain hasn’t quite caught up! The theme for December is Hollywood Bombshells. If you aren’t familiar with The Holo Hookup, it’s an indie nail polish collaboration box created by Different Dimension, Cupcake Polish and Glisten & Glow and each month they include one guest brand to create a polish for the box. Each polish in the box for the month is exclusive to that box and only available for a limited amount of time. The guest brand for November is Darling Diva! Now, onto the polishes!
Different Dimension Audrey is a mid-toned bright pink creme with a subtle but linear holographic effect. This is super opaque and a nice change-up for the Winter months. 2 coats but it’s a one-coater.
Cupcake Polish Grace is a metallic gunmetal with a linear holographic effect. Another one-coater here and it’s such an awesome shade. 2 coats.
Glisten & Glow Mae is a black linear holographic with purple sparks. Yet again, another one-coater. Really nice formula. I did 2 coats.
Darling Diva Vivien is a blood red linear holographic with a warm holographic effect and little micro flakie bits. Nice formula again on this one but not quite as opaque as the others so it required 2 coats.
The Holo Hookup collaboration box is limited edition and only available for purchase during the pre-order window. This pre-order will be open starting Monday, November 21st at 6PM PST and will end Monday, November 28th at 6PM PST. Make sure you get it during this time period because it won’t be available after that! You can purchase The Holo Hookup box on their website!
