Happy Friday!  I’m back down to nubby nails for now.  As much as I love having my nails a bit longer, I’ve been so annoyed with them being on the “long” side lately, so I cut them all down to stubs!  I’ve been really hard on my hands this Spring and probably will be this Summer so I just had to do it to avoid bad breaks and general gnarly-ness.  I have to admit, it’s super refreshing to do that but not always ideal for blogging. :P

Today I have Zoya’s Summer collections to show you!

Paradise Sun Collection

“Oceane” is a metallic cerulean with matching shimmer and silver flecks.  This is breathtaking.  The color, the formula.  Everything.  2 coats.

“Isa” is a cool-toned purple metallic with purple and blue sparkling shimmer.  The shimmer in this almost makes it appear to be duochrome.  It’s very interesting.  2 coats.

“Genesis” has silver, blue and pink shimmer in a milky white base.  I’ve heard from a lot of other bloggers that this has been nothing but trouble for them.  I used a light hand and somewhat thick coats and waited a good amount of time between coats when applying.  I didn’t find it too troublesome.  Depending on your painting style, you may have issues with this.  Besides that, it’s really pretty and I quite enjoy it!  2 coats.

“Mae” has a hot pink metallic base with silver flecks and hot pink shimmer.  I was afraid this would be frosty but it’s not.  It’s perfectly glass-flecky and lovely.  2 coats.

Zoya Mae | Summer 2015 Paradise Sun Collection | Peachy Polish

“Aphrodite” has gold and red glass fleck in a super warm-toned red jelly base.  It’s so warm it’s almost orange and may even appear orange on you, depending on your skin tone.  So pretty!  2 coats.

Zoya Aphrodite | Summer 2015 Paradise Sun Collection | Peachy Polish

“Selene” is a teal green metallic with teal and silver shimmer.  Gorgeous.  This is going to be amazing for Fall!  Such a beautiful jewel tone.  I do get a feeling that it could be a stainer so proceed with caution.  2 coats.

Island Fun Collection

“Jace” is a creme that’s the exact color of a granny smith apple.  This is super unique!  I can’t think of anything that’s just like it in my stash.  Awesome.  2 coats.

Zoya Jace | Summer 2015 Island Fun Collection | Peachy Polish

“Demetria” is a super warm-toned red creme.  Perfectly Summery red.  Great formula.  2 coats.

Zoya Demetria | Summer 2015 Island Fun Collection | Peachy Polish

“Nana” is a lush deep magenta creme.  So shiny.  Great formula on this one as well.  2 coats.

“Cecilia” is a bright teal green creme.  I’m surprised, this is actually sort of sticky and difficult.  Not what you’d expect from a Zoya creme.  And what a bummer because it’s a pretty color.  It’s not impossible but it does require more patience than usual.  I also get the feeling this one could be a stainer but I’m not sure, I usually don’t get staining unless I wear it as a regular mani and I’ve only swatched this so far.  2 coats.

“Talia” is a vibrant medium blue creme with green undertones.  Similar formula to “Cecelia”, thick and sticky.  :/  And as much as I love colors like this, I’m pretty sure it will be a major stainer.  You can see where I had some trouble with it and it pooled at my cuticle and that was as best I could clean it up.  Sadness!  It’s so pretty though.  2 coats.

“Serenity” is a slightly dusty purple creme.  It reminds me of one of my favorite Zoyas ever… “Mira”!  Nice formula on this one.  2 coats.
