Candy Lacquer: Summer 2013
Hello lovelies! Today I have some of Candy Lacquer’s Summer polishes to show you! As with all of Candy Lacquer’s polishes, these are LOADED with glitter and absolutely gorgeous! The formula is a little on the thick side but I always expect that with polishes that have so much glitter in them! I love Candy Lacquer somethin’ fierce! :)
“Barbie Girl” has hot pink, lavender and iridescent purple glitters in various shapes and with purple and pink shimmer in a clear base. I am loving the shimmer! This is one dabbed coat over China Glaze “Too Yacht To Handle.”
“Gumdrops & Lollipops” has pastel, white and a touch of neon glitter in lots of shapes, sizes and shades in a clear base. So cute! Candy Lacquer always does bar glitter the right way. :) I did one dabbed coat over China Glaze “Highlight Of My Summer.”
“Licorice Allsorts” has black, white, peach, green, marigold, sunshine yellow, pale yellow, hot pink and light pink glitter in a variety of shapes and sizes in a clear base. The peach and marigold glitter have my heart! This is one dabbed coat over China Glaze “Bottoms Up.”
“Pixel Party” has a boat load of matte square glitters in an array of colors in a clear base. Love! One dabbed coat over China Glaze “Neon & On & On.”
“Sea Glass” has cerulean and neon green glitter in so many different sizes with some bluish green iridescent glitter and shimmer. I adore this one. It’s hard to choose but this might be my favorite! This is one dabbed coat over China Glaze “Yellow Polka Dot Bikini.”
“Summer Circus” has pale purple, lavender, marigold, sunshine yellow, pale yellow, carnation pink and mint green hexes in large, medium and small in a clear base. This reminds me of something that I can’t quite put my finger on! Darn it! Regardless, these colors together are amazing. One dabbed coat over China Glaze “Son of a Peach.”
“Tropical Skittles” is loaded with big round glitters! There is orange/red, cerulean, carnation pink, yellow & light green circles! My friend Kianna from Polish & Pandas said this looks like the game Twister, and I totally agree! I did one dabbed coat over white. (No close-up for this one! I didn’t get a good shot.)
Candy Lacquer can be purchased on their website! She discontinues polishes on a regular basis with the changing seasons/holidays so if you like it, buy it! Don’t forget to also follow Candy Lacquer on Facebook for shops news!
