Hi guys! It’s almost the weekend! I can’t wait! I’m going to get mah swatch on allllll weekendddd longggg! I have so much awesome stuff coming up and lots of stuff backlogged! I’m contemplating doing double features throughout the week if I have time.
Today I have a brand I’m trying out for the first time, Shleee Polish! I’ve been following the creator of the line on Instagram for a long time now and I just adore her. She is a real sweetheart! So when I heard she was going to be creating polish, I was super excited to see what she would come up with. I’m so honored to get to try these polishes! Let’s see how they fared, shall we? :)
“The House” is a stunning, shimmery cobalt blue. The purple and blue shimmer in here really shines. It’s jaw-dropping how beautiful this is in person. You have to work fast with this polish because it dries really quickly and will start to get a little thick if you go too slow. This will be perfect when you need a quick and easy mani because the drying time is minimal. It barely required 2 coats.
“Exploration #4″ is a pretty dark gun metal/black polish with purple and holographic shimmer. It gives off a nice linear holographic effect! It dries really fast too so work quickly! 2 coats.
“Pelafina” has pink, gold and a light dusting of holographic microshimmer in a dove gray base with icy blue undertones. Against my skin, the blue tones really showed up! In the bottle it looked much more like a true gray. This is sooooo pretty! The shimmer is absolutely breathtaking! This one also dries super fast. 2 coats.
“5 1/2 Minute Hallway” has black and holo gunmetal glitter with holographic, blue, purple and iridescent shimmer. So pretty! I thought that this was just black glitter from briefly looking at the bottle but once I put it on, I saw the gunmetal bits and fell in love. It adds so much to the polish! The shimmer in here is insane! This is a bit on the thick side so I used one dabbed coat over “Pelafina”.
“The Navidson Record” is a dark slate gray with green, blue, gold and holographic shimmer. Once I put it on, out came some pretty teal/green undertones! Another shimmering beauty! This one had a really nice formula. 2 coats.
“Known. Some. Call. Is. Air. Am.” has holographic and metallic circle glitter in different colors and sizes and multichrome/iridescent shimmer in a clear base. I saved the very best for last. This. Is. Amazing. So shimmery, so glittery, so sparkly! I had to layer it over black to show it’s true beauty! It’s a little on the thick side but simple enough to use by dabbing! Glitter pickup was a breeze. One coat over black!
