First up, we have UberChic Beauty’s Wild West-01 and Hipster-01 stamping plates.

The Hipster-01 stamping plate consist of 32 different elements that are really cute and remind me of my homeland of Portland, OR! Bikes and music and mustaches and retro stuff! Totally Portland. UberChic’s plates are some of my most favorite and most used. The quality is outstanding and the designs are very unique and detailed. This is no different. What you see on the plate is exactly what you end up with on the nail.

Next, we have the Uber Mat which is an ingenious product. Long gone are the days of my old nail polish stained hand towel that collected lint like no other. I now use my UberMat exclusively. I’m not exactly sure what it’s made of but it’s a flexible silicone or silicone-like material with a matte finish. It has three circle outlines, one large, one medium and one small in the upper right hand corner and 10 finger outlines, with five almond and five oval shaped nails. You can use these outlines for a variety of things including making nail art decals, testing colors and color combinations, etc. The uses are endless. I’ve used it to do both of those things numerous times. I’ve also used it to blob on nail polish when I’m doing a dotticure and I’ve even hand-painted designs onto it, like I did with my holly and pine nails.

As I mentioned above, the material is flexible. You can bend it any which way and it won’t crease. You could even store it folded or rolled up if you want. You will notice when you put polish on it, the mat puckers at the spot the polish was laid but don’t fret, once the polish is removed, it lays flat once again. It’s magic. :)

The best thing about it, is that no matter how messy it gets, clean up is a breeze. I usually just wait for the remnants to dry on the mat and then peel them right off but you can also use acetone and wipe up those pesky wet polish drops. I haven’t had any issues with staining or not being able to remove polish. When it looks a little dingy, I just wipe it down with some gentle cleanser and a paper towel and it’s as good as new.

The only “issue” (if you can call it that) is that I do find that it collects lint, dust and hair. But, before I sit down to do any polishing, I simply use a lint roller and roll it over the top of the mat and any particles that are lingering are picked up easily and quickly. So really, it’s not an issue, just know that you may need to do that too if you have pets like mine who shed an insane amount.

All in all, this mat is a must-have for polish lovers. I sometimes catch myself wondering, how did I ever manage before this!? Seriously revolutionary IMO!

UberMat

Lastly, I wanted to show the Uber Mat in action so I ventured out of my comfort zone and made a short little video that shows how I do reverse stamping using the Uber Mat! It makes doing reverse stamping so much easier! I hope you guys enjoy this little video!
