Candy Lacquer: Fall 2012 Collection

Posted on Nov 16, 2012

Yay! I’m back! I’ve just been itching to do a post all week but as you may have noticed, the blog was down . :( We got it all sorted out though and I’m so excited to do a new post! Today I’ve got some Candy Lacquer’s that I believe were released for Fall 2012 because they were new ones in the shop when I got them a few weeks ago. Candy Lacquer is quickly becoming one of my favorite indie brands. I pretty much swoon over every polish that’s released!

“Autumn Leaves” is a shredded red and yellow glitter with little microshimmer waves running through it. I think this is as close to getting real leaves on your nails as you will ever get. It just screams fall. This is one coat over Deborah Lippmann “From Rags to Riches.”

“Candy Mix” is a multi-colored glitter in a clear base. There are some medium and large sized hexagons in here as well as lots of glitter bits. I see blue, white, yellow, red, green and light pink in there. These are kind of pearly glitters are opposed to really sparkly or matte glitter. This is one coat over Deborah Lippmann “My Prerogative.”

“Fruit Squares” is a fun multi-colored glitter top coat, made entirely with square glitter. We’ve got purple, yellow, green, red and orange glitter in this mix. This is really fun. It reminds me of a circus, or maybe a clown but not creepy like a clown. Hah! It’s very cheerful. I could see my niece just loving this one! This is one coat over Deborah Lippmann “Sexy Mama.”

“Mad for Plaid” is glitter top coat with square and bar glitter. Have I already mentioned what a sucker I am for square glitter? It’s probably my favorite shape besides giant circular glitter (but you don’t see much of the latter.) So naturally I really loved this one. Especially with the mix of colors that are in here; red, turquoise, black and white. I’ve always loved those colors together! This one is my favorite of the four. This is one coat over Deborah Lippmann “Putty In Your Hands.”

Candy Lacquer can be purchased at their online shop. You have to check them out, they’ve got some incredible stuff! I’ve loved every single polish I bought from them! Even some that I bought, not expecting to like them. They all just blew me away.

I hope everyone has an awesome weekend!
