CND VINYLUX: Summer 2014 Paradise Collection Swatches & Review

Hi all! More Summer polishes for you today! I can’t believe it’s already time for Summer Collections but they are definitely welcome in my book! I love the bright colors! Today’s Summer beauties come from CND! These ones are part of their VINYLUX line. Let’s get right to the swatches!

“Lush Tropics” is a lush, bright kelly green creme. Great formula. Perfectly smooth. I did 2 coats.

“Electric Orange” is a bright red-toned orange creme. Great orange. A little on the thick side but in a good way. I did 2 coats.

“Cerulean Sea” is a pretty cerulean blue creme. Pretty and yet another great formula. 2 coats.

“Bicycle Yellow” is a a bright yellow with golden shimmer. This is probably one of the worst yellows I’ve ever used. It’s very rare that I experience a polish so bad that I literally say WTF when I’m swatching, but I did while using this. Thick and goopy and stringy and yet it still leaves you with bald spots. To top it all off, bubbling. I’m so disappointed because it looks so gorgeous in the bottle. :( I did three coats with topcoat. The top coat helped disguise the bumps and bald spots.

“Sultry Sunset” is a shimmering metallic magenta. It dries to a nice metallic finish but it doesn’t have the streakiness that metallics normally have. I did 2 coats.

“Tango Passion” is a plum metallic with blue, purple and silver shimmer. Nice polish, nice formula, no streakiness! I did 2 coats.
