CrowsToes: Summer 2015 Nitty Gritty Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! You may remember CrowsToes’ ValenCrows Collection from earlier this year which contained a neon pink textured polish. I was basically obsessed with it. Well imagine my surprise and delight when I heard CrowsToes was releasing not only 3 more neon textures but a total of 6 TEXTURED POLISHES for Summer! They fall in line with the formula of the original Zoya PixieDusts which I love (and already miss, since they’ve been discontinued) so it’s even more reason to get excited! Along with the 6 textures, there is also and beautiful shimmery, non-textured polish at the end which is a MUST-SEE! So without further ado, let’s get to the good stuff!

“Overkill Is Underrated” is a neon yellow texture with holographic silver microglitter. Amazing, amazing, amazing! I’ve been hoping for some more neon textures from CrowsToes and my dreams have come true! SO GOOD. I did 2 coats and there is a bit of VNL but I liked it that way! You could probably get to opacity in 3 coats.

“The Bottom Line” is a neon yellow-toned orange texture with lots of lovely holographic silver microglitter. WHUTTTT. I love this so damn much. I can’t even express how I feel right now! 2 coats.

“Bulls#!t Detector” is a hot reddened orange texture with silver holographic microglitter! Anndddd, my favorite of the neons! The base reminds me of one of my all-time favorite neon polishes… “Hedonist” from Models Own! This is SOOOO perfect! 2 coats.

“Epitome of Stupidity” had gold and red-toned purple shimmer, flakes, and glitter bits in a back base that appears almost raisin color. It dries matte and textured. I am drooling. I can’t get enough of these. My love for textured polishes has surely been reawakened. 2 coats.

“If I Had A Nickel…” has blue and purple shimmer and flakes with purple microglitter in a midnight blue- looking black base that dries down matte and textured. LOVE! 2 coats.

“1:21AM On A Tuesday” has emerald green and golden shimmer and microglitter in a black base that dries matte and textured. Again, the base almost appears to take on the color of the shimmer. Spectacular. These all have incredible formulas. This is no different. 2 coats.

“Ingrounded” has tons of aqua and holographic aqua microglitter in a brightened teal base. What the heck CrowsToes! How can one collection have so much amazingness! This is excellent! 3 thin coats.
