Deborah Lippmann: Summer 2015 Painted Desert Collection Swatches & Review

Provided For Review

Hello hello my friends! Today I have Deborah Lippmann’s Summer Collection for 2015 to show you! From just looking at the shades, you wouldn’t think it was a Summer Collection but I love the way Queen Deb always thinks outside of the box and does things that other brands don’t. Not to mention I’d take muted, dusty and ugly-pretty colors any day of the year. :)

“Shifting Sands” is a yellow-toned nude creme. Just a perfectly nude shade with a great formula. 2 coats.

“Terra Nova” is a Dijon mustard colored creme that could lean more yellow or more brown depending on your skin tone. This is not going to float everyone’s boat but man, do I love this polish. So unique. 2 coats.

“Desert Moon” is a slightly green-toned gray creme. Or maybe it’s a slightly gray toned green. It’s one of those colors that it’s kind of hard to tell. In the bottle it appears more gray but on me it looks slightly more green. Either way, a beauty! 2 coats.

“Love In The Dunes” is a murky muted purple creme. Muted and dusty purple polishes are probably my all time favorite. When I don’t know what to wear, I always reach for one so this is definitely tops for me. 2 coats.

Deborah Lippmann polishes can be purchased on their website as well as a number of other places including, Nordstrom, Sephora, Neiman Marcus, Barney’s, Holt Renfrew, Ulta and plenty of online retailers. These ones aren’t available quite yet but they will be available on the Deborah Lippmann website very soon so keep your eyes peeled!

These are awesome. Not your typical summer shades for sure! You inspired me to reach for some of my Deborah Lippman untrieds. Thanks for the swatches Valesha!
