Double Stamp All The Nails

Hi guys! I’m back today with a link-up with some fabulous ladies! We are part of a group called Paint All The Nails and once a month we choose a theme and then get to work creating our designs. This time around double stamping won the vote. Being new to the stamping game, this was not the idea I voted for but what good is this link-up if not to push us into trying new and exciting things! I must admit, I was THISCLOSE to chickening out and not participating. So shameful, but I ended up pulling it together at the last second. :)

Today we are sharing our double stamping designs with all of you! Make sure you visit all the ladies’ blogs at the end and check out what they came up with!

Double-Stamping

After perusing my limited supply of stamping plates, I decided to go with a lattice design and a rose design which I think complement each other very well. Growing up, we had lots of lattice and red roses in our yard so naturally, this mani ended up reminding me of my childhood home which in turn gave me all the feels. Oh to be a kid again.

I started out with a base of Deborah Lippmann “Naked” which is one of my all time favorite nude polishes. Once that was dry, I used Bundle Monster plate BM-315 with Rescue Beauty Lounge “A Lonely House” and used my Creative Shop Stamper to stamp the lattice design on my nails. After that was also finished drying, I used Bundle Monster plate BM-323 and Rescue Beauty Lounge “Sanguine” to stamp the roses on top. I then topped off the entire design with KBShimmer “Clearly On Top” top coat, as always.

Not too shabby for my first double stamping venture! I really love the way it turned out and the nude with brown lattice would also be great for a cute little ice cream cone mani! I’ll need to remember that once the warm weather rolls around again!

Deborah Lippmann: Summer 2015 Painted Desert Collection Swatches & Review

Provided For Review

Hello hello my friends! Today I have Deborah Lippmann’s Summer Collection for 2015 to show you! From just looking at the shades, you wouldn’t think it was a Summer Collection but I love the way Queen Deb always thinks outside of the box and does things that other brands don’t. Not to mention I’d take muted, dusty and ugly-pretty colors any day of the year. :)

“Shifting Sands” is a yellow-toned nude creme. Just a perfectly nude shade with a great formula. 2 coats.

Valentine’s Day Nail Art!

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching… I can’t believe it’s only a couple days away! It’s one of my favorite holidays and I’ve actually only done ONE Valentine’s nail art post on my blog in the 2 1/2 years since I started it! That is just insane. I was not about to let another year pass me by without doing a little nail art post full of Valentine’s goodness! Enjoy!

First up is a black and white watermarble topped with a sparkly red heart! For this look, I used Essie “Licorice” and “Blanc” for the watermarble and created the heart by using red acrylic paint and dabbing Lynnderella “Rad Red Party Dress” on top of that. LOVE how this turned out! If you are feeling a little anti-Valentine’s Day, you could do a broken heart on top instead which would also be cool! Maybe even black broken hearts. :)
