Hi all! I have an extra super special post for you today. Why is it extra super special, you ask? Well, not only has it be in the works for A YEAR now but it’s been kept under wraps the whole time and now it’s finally time for the big reveal! Rescue Beauty Lounge has worked with the 5 of us newbie RBL bloggers to create some polishes! YAY! So without further ado, I present to you The Bloggers’ 3.0 Collection!
First up is “PeachyPolish.com”, my collaboration polish with RBL! It has a deep purple-toned burgundy base with loads of pink, gold and blue microshimmer. It ends up looking a bit metallic-y because of all of that shimmer. I was inspired by berry color palettes. Raspberries, blackberries, blueberries, etc. Come Fall, this will be one of my go-to colors. 2 coats.
“Manicurator” is RBL’s collaboration polish with Victoria from Manicurator! It has a stunning aqua-leaning-blue crelly base with teeny aqua flakes and and subtle aqua and silvery shimmer. The flakes and shimmer are a bit more noticeable in person. It was inspired by Turks & Caicos and totally resembles the beautiful photos I’ve seen. I adore the teeny flakes! 2 coats.
“Morning Light” is a collaboration polish with Yukie from warmvanillasugar0823 on YouTube. It has a light dusty blue creme base with tons of glowing gold shimmer. It’s like a lovely, foggy morning. Her color was inspired by a painting her father did. The story and painting is magical and you should really head over to her review video and see the painting for yourself! 2 coats.
“Refined and Polished” is a collab polish with Lakeisha from Refined and Polished. It has a coral creme base that leans more orange than pink with royal blue glitter bits. She was inspired by coral and turquoise shades which go together so wonderfully. Lakeisha said it’s one of her favorite color combinations and I have to agree! Such a perfect pair. It’s fun seeing it translated into a polish! 2 coats.
“MakeupWithdrawal” is a collaboration polish from RBL and Mimi from Makeup Withdrawal. It has a gorgeous indigo leaning purple crelly base with lots of reflective pink and copper shimmer. This is incredible. My photo doesn’t do it justice! As much as I love all the girls’ creations, this one takes the cake. I might even like it more than my own! Bravo! Mimi imagined this color as IKB: 2012 and Piu Mosso’s lovechild. 2 coats!
