Happy Halloween!: Halloween Nail Art
Happy Halloween boos and ghouls! Ok, ok, I know I’m a day early but since I don’t usually do posts on weekends, I figured I’d share this to kick off this ghoulish Halloween weekend! Today, I’ve prepared a bunch of different Halloween nail art looks for you!
Double Stamp All The Nails
Hi guys! I’m back today with a link-up with some fabulous ladies! We are part of a group called Paint All The Nails and once a month we choose a theme and then get to work creating our designs. This time around double stamping won the vote. Being new to the stamping game, this was not the idea I voted for but what good is this link-up if not to push us into trying new and exciting things! I must admit, I was THISCLOSE to chickening out and not participating. So shameful, but I ended up pulling it together at the last second. :)
Today we are sharing our double stamping designs with all of you! Make sure you visit all the ladies’ blogs at the end and check out what they came up with!
After perusing my limited supply of stamping plates, I decided to go with a lattice design and a rose design which I think complement each other very well. Growing up, we had lots of lattice and red roses in our yard so naturally, this mani ended up reminding me of my childhood home which in turn gave me all the feels. Oh to be a kid again.
I started out with a base of Deborah Lippmann “Naked” which is one of my all time favorite nude polishes. Once that was dry, I used Bundle Monster plate BM-315 with Rescue Beauty Lounge “A Lonely House” and used my Creative Shop Stamper to stamp the lattice design on my nails. After that was also finished drying, I used Bundle Monster plate BM-323 and Rescue Beauty Lounge “Sanguine” to stamp the roses on top. I then topped off the entire design with KBShimmer “Clearly On Top” top coat, as always.
Not too shabby for my first double stamping venture! I really love the way it turned out and the nude with brown lattice would also be great for a cute little ice cream cone mani! I’ll need to remember that once the warm weather rolls around again!
Make sure to check out my previous Paint All The Nails posts, here and here!
All of the ladies that are a part of the Paint All The Nails group are extremely talented and I urge you to check out their posts as well and spread the love! They are just fabulous!
Pahlish: Halloween 2015 Happy Holo-Ween II Collection Swatches & Review
Hi guys! Today I have some gorgeous holos from Pahlish to share with you. This is a brand that I always admire but don’t share enough on the blog so I’m really excited to share this post with you today!
“Sour Caramel Apple” is a granny smith apple green with a golden linear holographic effect. 2 coat.
How could I not add a caramel drizzle on top of a polish named “Sour Caramel Apple”? It only took a second but the effect is so cute! I used China Glaze “Desert Sun” for the caramel drippiness!
Lynnderella Mondays!: Druidella, Newly Fangled, A Haunting We Will Go, Wings AND Fangs & Bella Chlorella Swatches & Review
Happy Monday! Before we get to the fun stuff, did anyone watch The Walking Dead last night???? If you know me, you KNOW, I was all over it. It was very different but I liked it and it made me even more excited for next week’s episode. I think it’ll be even better! I have a feeling that it will be action packed! Sound off below if you watched and tell me what you thought!
Are you guys ready for some amazing Lynnderellas!? Let’s take a look!
“Druidella” has a burnt sienna base with matching microglitter and shimmer, accented with gold shimmer and sparse gold microglitter and flakes. It has a somewhat metallic finish and is extremely gorgeous. I didn’t expect to like it as much as I do. But it’s seriously beautiful. 2 coats.
I also did a watermarble over the top of “Druidella”… mainly because I wanted to try out Pipe Dream Polish’s “Clearwater” which I had just gotten but also because a black and clear watermarble over the top of “Druidella” just seemed so perfect for Halloween!
Pretty Serious Cosmetics: Pet Names Collection, Absence/Presence Duo Swatches & Review & MORE!
Hello all! Today I have lots of good stuff from Pretty Serious Cosmetics to share with you. Originally, I was going to title this post The Well Meaning But Ultimately Quite Awkward Pet Names Collection + Absence/Presence Duo Swatches & Review + Some Nail Art & Stamping or something of that nature but it was just too much for a brain to process! Haha! Even the title as is, is a lot to take in. So I shortened the title but let’s do a little run-down of what you can expect from this post. First up, I have the The Well Meaning But Ultimately Quite Awkward Pet Names Collection (say that ten times fast.) Next up will be swatches of the Absence/Presence Duo. Lastly, I have some nail art stamping tests and a nail art look to round it all off! There is lots of good stuff to be seen here so hang with me guys. :)
“Sugar Cakes” is a brightened cool-toned pink. It borders on being a neon and even dries to a satin-almost-matte finish. It’s a little on the thick side but not too difficult. I did 2 coats with top coat here.
