Colors By Llarowe: Winter 2015 Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Are you ready for an enormous post today? You’ll need to settle in for this one! The polishes I’m sharing today are by Colors By Llarowe! Let’s get right to it so we can focus on the pretties. :)

“Fairy Dust” is a pale gray with a scattered holographic effect and a warm golden shimmer. This is so pretty and delicate. Perfect for the holidays. 3 coats here but you could get by with 2.

I’ve been practicing my stamping lately, as you may have noticed so I did some simple snowflake stamping over “Fairy Dust” using Rica “Whiteout” and a random off-brand stamping plate.

“Hot Buttered Rum” is a warm taupe with a delicate but linear holographic effect. 2 coats.

“Tree Of Lights” has a vibrant teal green jelly base with a scattered holographic effect and holographic silver and green glitter bits. Insanely beautiful. I can’t take my eyes off of it. 2 coats.

“Ice Ice Baby” is a medium blue linear holo. 2 coats.

“‘Shroom With A View” is a warm charcoal with brown undertones and a warm linear holographic effect. 2 coats.

“If You Dare” is a vibrant magenta linear holo. Growing up, we had Christmas ball ornaments that were this exact color so this has me feeling a bit nostalgic. Incredible color. 2 coats.

“Plum Perfect” is a warm purple with a linear holographic effect and pretty pink sheen. 2 coats.

“Santa Baby” is a medium toned red with a linear holo effect and sparse red microglitter bits. 2 coats.

Also tried out a little stamping using Rica “Whiteout” again and Bundle Monster plate BM-222. Obviously I need to work on aligning images, haha!

“Jewel Of Denial” is a stunning jewel toned teal with a linear holographic. 2 coats.

“Peacock Parade” is a jewel toned denim blue with a linear holo effect. 2 coats.

“Berries In The Snow” is a deep berry toned burgundy linear holo. 2 coats.

“Breathless” has a pink-toned burgundy base with copper and magenta shimmer. The shimmer is very reflective and almost appears to be glass fleck. I did 2 coats.

The next 6 polishes are part of the Winter Collection but are different from the others because they’ll be sticking around as part of the core line!

“Red-y Or Not” is a perfect mid-toned red crelly. A true red if you will. 2 coats.

“Violet Haze” is a dark purple jelly. So squishable and dark yet not too dark. I love this. Perfect formula. 2 coats.

“Camo” is a dusty medium green creme. Creamy and opaque in 2 coats.

“Regal” is a vibrant cobalt blue jelly. It dries with a satin finish but I used a top coat here. This appears more sheer in photos than it does in real life. In person, I couldn’t see any VNL. I did 2 coats here.

“Devilish” is a warm red jelly. This one is a bit more sheer than the other jellies here. I did 3 coats.

“Emerald Isle” is a lush evergreen creme with a perfect formula. 2 coats.

Each of these have incredible formulas! Honestly, with such an amazing and diverse collection, I couldn’t possibly pick favorites. I can’t say enough good things.
