Happy Halloween boos and ghouls! Ok, ok, I know I’m a day early but since I don’t usually do posts on weekends, I figured I’d share this to kick off this ghoulish Halloween weekend! Today, I’ve prepared a bunch of different Halloween nail art looks for you!
Hello guys and ghouls! I’m back again today with yet another Halloween themed post! Today I have China Glaze’s Halloween Collection to share with you! It’s full of perfect Halloween goodness. Let’s take a look!
Hello again lovely people! You may remember about a month ago, I teamed up with some fabulously talented nail bloggers to create a themed link-up. I am participating for the second time and today, I get to share my designs with all! Can you believe that I’m actually sharing nail art twice in one week? I don’t think that’s been done on my blog until now! I’m happy to be stretching my nail art wings. :)
The theme for September’s link-up was negative space. I haven’t incorporated all that much negative space into my nail art repertoire but I always admire it. I think negative space nails always look so chic, modern and even futuristic. Plus it’s fun to experiment with cool new looks. I couldn’t decide what to do for this prompt so I came up with 3 different looks. 2 turned out great and one is a fail. I decided to show you guys the fail anyway because I realized that I rarely show my fails on the blog. I do fail quite often in nail art since I’m still learning and practicing. The perfectionist in me, just won’t allow me to show them most of the time!
Now, let’s get to the good stuff!
First up is a negative space watermarble. I had been wanting to try using a clear polish/top coat in a watermarble for a while now so I thought this would be the perfect chance! I had a heck of a time trying to find a clear that would spread in the water well and not bleed into the colored polishes. I ended up using an unlabeled Wet n’ Wild top coat and it worked relatively well but I’m still going to be on the lookout for something else. If anyone has suggestions, I would appreciate it greatly! For this look, I used Zoya “Rocky” and “Lara” and OPI “Lost My Bikini In Molokini” and as I mentioned an unlabeled clear Wet n’ Wild polish/top coat. I then used China Glaze “Fairy Dust” to give it some sparkle and Zoya “Lara” again to add some french tips.
Hi guys! Today I have China Glaze’s new Fall collection to show you. When I heard the theme was The Great Outdoors, I was so excited. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I felt like this collection would totally be based off the region. Let’s see if these lived up to my expectations!
“Take A Hike” is a dusty hunter green creme. It’s super saturated and has a great formula. 2 coats.
Hi guys! Today I’m excited and proud to be a part of my first link-up! I’m in a group called Paint All The Nails! on Facebook which is intended to increase engagement on the blogs that belong to the members; and let me just say, the caliber of nail bloggers in the group is superb. I feel so lucky to be included with such a coterie of talented people.
We are going to try and do link-ups each month, each with a different theme. I’m excited to not only be included in this little adventure but to be able to work on more nail art. Nail art tends to fall by the wayside here at Peachy Polish because the swatches seem to always reign supreme, but I’d like to incorporate different forms of nail beauty onto the blog! This just seemed like the perfect opportunity!
For my first ever link-up, I wanted to try and do something different but simple using the gradient theme. I decided to do a blue gradient using dots. I’ve been calling this a “dottifall” since the style is a kind of dotticure/waterfall hybrid. For this look, I used China Glaze “New Birth” as the base, then concentrated dots using Zoya “Ling” near the base of my nails. Then letting the dots get more sporadic as I moved towards the tips of my nails, I used OPI “No Room For The Blues” for the dots near the middle and OPI “What’s With The Cattitude?” for the dots toward the very tip. The dots toward the tip of the nail should be the most delicate and sparse. I quite liked how this turned out and thought the colors blended into each other perfectly! I really can’t wait to try this with other color combos now.
I wanted to add a little dimension to the mani and even contribute the the gradient theme some more, so I used Shleee Polish “Elsa” for the glitter gradient over the dottifall! I thought it really brought the look together!

Hi everyone! Here is another post from wayyyyy back when! I swatched these China Glaze polishes from the Off Shore Collection a whole year ago! So long ago in fact, that it was when my nails were still square shaped. I really do miss the square shape but they are so much easier to maintain now that they are squoval and they don’t break nearly as often, which is nice.
I’ve been wanting to share these with you since I first swatched them and I’m happy to get the chance to do it now! If you haven’t seen swatches of these before, I would suggest looking at some swatches from other bloggers. Though these aren’t the typical neon, I believe they have a bit of neon pigment which can alter the color a bit in photographs and makes them hard to capture. I think most swatches come out a little different depending on the blogger, the lighting and the color.
“Be More Pacific” is a pale celery green crelly. I think the crelly formulation really lends a hand to this polish. Being such a pale color, normally a polish like this might have streaking issues. This was perfect in 2 coats over a ridge filling base coat.
