Dermelect: Fall 2015 Inner Wild Collection Swatches & Review { Partial }

Hello hello! I have 2 little polishes from a brand I’ve never featured on my blog before… Dermelect! Unfortunately I don’t have the whole collection but they 2 polishes are lovely on their own. :) Here’s a little bit about Dermelect Nail Lacquers if you aren’t familiar with the brand:

China Glaze: Fall 2015 The Great Outdoors Collection Swatches & Review

Hi guys! Today I have China Glaze’s new Fall collection to show you. When I heard the theme was The Great Outdoors, I was so excited. Living in the Pacific Northwest, I felt like this collection would totally be based off the region. Let’s see if these lived up to my expectations!

“Take A Hike” is a dusty hunter green creme. It’s super saturated and has a great formula. 2 coats.

Hi guys! This post is long enough as is, so I’m not going to bore you with an introduction… time to go dupe-hunting!

From pointer to pinkie: 2 coats of NCLA “Downtown Dollface”, 3 coats of OPI “I Cannoli Wear OPI”, 2 coats of Nubar “Choirgirl” and 3 coats of Deborah Lippmann “Misty Morning”. DD is identical to ICWO and quite frankly, DD has a better formula. Choirgirl is also an identical color but it has a crelly formulation (which I prefer for lighter colors like this) and again, has a better formula than ICWO. MM is similar in color but not identical and the finish is entirely different since it’s a sheer and ICWO is a creme.

OPI: Fall 2015 Venice Collection Swatches & Review

Ciao miei amori! Supposedly that means “hello my loves!” in Italian (accoring to Google Translate) which I thought was a fitting greeting for today’s post. I have OPI’s Venice Collection to show you!

Make sure to come back tomorrow as well. I know how much you guys like comparison posts and I will have comparisons of this collection posted for you! I know I don’t get the opportunity to post comparisons often but I try to do them for OPI polishes at least since that’s what is most often requested!

“I Cannoli Wear OPI” is a super pale gray creme. Decent formula but not the best. It evens out well in 3 coats but is slightly streaky in 2. I did 3 here.

Hi guys! We’ve made it halfway through another treacherous week. The more the Summer seems to trudge on (oh so slowly), the more I get excited for Fall. I’m over this hotness! It’s killin’ me! (Is that all I ever do on here these days, is complain about the hot weather? Haha!) This collection, despite being a Summer collection, has me aching for Fall even more! Let’s check out Pretty Serious Cosmetics’ Summer 2015 Naileontology Collection!

“Blood Of Knossos” is a swampy green creme with tons of gold shimmer. This won’t be for everyone but man, it is totally up my alley! Stunning and extremely unique. It reminds me of our lush, mossy forests of the Pacific Northwest. I did 2 coats but it’s a one-coater.

Yep, you read that correctly, it’s already time for Fall collections! It’s tripping me out a little bit because didn’t 2015 just start? What is happening? Are we in a time warp? That being said, Fall-time and Fall collections are my fave so BRING. IT. ON. I can’t wait! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m not a warm weather person so bring on the jeans and hoodies and coziness and pretty colors!

“Tartan Punk” is a true red creme with lots of caramel colored shimmer. First of all, I LOVE the name! Second of all, the color is amazing! It will be great for Fall and the Holidays especially. 2 coats.
