Yep, you read that correctly, it’s already time for Fall collections! It’s tripping me out a little bit because didn’t 2015 just start? What is happening? Are we in a time warp? That being said, Fall-time and Fall collections are my fave so BRING. IT. ON. I can’t wait! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I’m not a warm weather person so bring on the jeans and hoodies and coziness and pretty colors!
Today I have for you CND’s Fall 2015 Contradictions Collection! Check it out!
“Tartan Punk” is a true red creme with lots of caramel colored shimmer. First of all, I LOVE the name! Second of all, the color is amazing! It will be great for Fall and the Holidays especially. 2 coats.
“Naked Naiveté” is a slightly pinky toned cream shade with a creme finish. Not the best formula ever. It’s slightly streaky but evens out pretty well in 3 coats.
“Couture Covet” is a dark moody teal creme. It’s perfect. So creamy and lovely and it’s full coverage in one coat.
“Grommet” is a navy-tinged gunmetal metallic with lots of silver, blue and pink microshimmer. I thought I’d be pretty “blah” about this but it’s amazing! Very chic. 2 coats here but it’s a one-coater.
“Peacock Plume” has teal microshimmer in a navy creme base. I thought it would be similar to other teal shimmered blue polishes (e.g. OPI’s “Catch Me In Your Net” and the like) but it’s actually quite different and lovely. 2 easy breezy coats.
“Safety Pin” is a platinum foil with a golden tinge to it. Gorgeous and quite unique for a silver foil! 2 coats.
“Rouge Rite” is a perfectly berry red creme. It has just a tad bit of a pink undertone to it. Gorgeous. 2 coats.
“Poison Plum” is a deep and moody plum jelly with red and black glitter bits. The glitter tends to hide a bit (which is why I didn’t take a macro here) but you can see it peeking out in certain lights in person. 2 coats.
While, these are very very pretty, after the CND Summer collection (which I majorly swooned over), I’m feeling a little meh about this collection. Still, if you’re looking for shades like these, they would be great additions to your stash!
