Different Dimension: Fall 2014 Heavy Metals Collection Swatches & Review

Hello darlings! Today I have Different Dimension’s new collection to show you today. This collection consists of a couple of glitter toppers and a handful of linear holographic polish. Let’s check them out!

“Pedal To The Metal” has silver, bronze and gold metallic and holographic glitter in a clear base. It looks like a bowl of coins! Love it. I did one coat over China Glaze “Capacity To See Beyond”.

“Hearts Of Steel” has gold and rose gold holographic glitter and shimmer in a clear base. This reminds me a bit of my collaboration polish with KBShimmer so of course I love this one too. :) Sparkly and lovely. I did one coat over Jordana Cosmetics “Pink Petunia”.

For these next swatches, the first photo for each is the most color accurate. The second one was just taken to show of the holographic effect. :)

“Silver Lining” is a platinum linear holo. This is extremely holo! There is no doubting that rainbow! 2 perfect coats.

“All That Glitters Is Not Gold” is a golden linear holographic with slightly green undertones. This isn’t quite as linear in real life as “Silver Lining” but equally as pretty! 2 coats.

“Heart Of Rose Gold” is a dusky bronze-toned rose gold linear holographic. Nice and rainbow-y and at the same time, very nice for Fall because of the dusty quality to the color. I did 2 coats.

“Copper-Bottomed” is a perfectly copper linear holographic. It’s just like the copper mugs they use to make Mule cocktails… a paler color of copper. Beautiful. 2 coats.

“Bold As Brass” is a pale reddened-brown linear holo. This one isn’t really my cup of tea. It gives me a mild case of lobster hands. It will be great for others though. 2 coats.

“Foiled Again” is a graphite colored linear holographic. Very pretty and very holographic. I did 2 coats.

    The glitters are really nice and I like how you layered them over brighter colours (the blue is perfect!). I’ve seen so many gold and silver holos so those don’t stand out as much, but the rose gold holo is stunning. I wonder how it compares to the recent ILNP one (thinking out loud here).

    The glitters don’t do much for me but I’m not big on chunky glitters anyway. I love the holos though - such pretty demure colours are totally transformed by the holo effect.
