Different Dimension: Santa Baby Collection
Hi guys! Today I have 3 polishes from the Different Dimension Santa Baby Collection!
“Blue Christmas” has iridescent blue glitter, white glitter and holographic silver glitter in a clear base. I feel like the base to glitter ratio was a little off on this. I could barely get the glitter out without having way too much base on the brush. It may have also been because a lot of the glitter had sunk to the bottom. I thought this was really pretty but I was unimpressed by the glitter payoff. It took a lot of work and coats to get the amount of the glitter on my nails that I wanted. This is 2 coats (plus dabbing) over OPI “Suzi Says Feng Shui”. (Sidenote: The color of “Suzi Says Feng Shui” in this swatch is off. I could not for the life of me get it to photograph correctly. The color of “Blue Christmas” is accurate though. :) )
“Christmahanakwanzika” has red, yellow, gold, green, and black glitter in a clear base. I like that this has the traditional Christmas colors but it’s a little different because of the black glitter. It reminds me of the “Feliz Navidad” Christmas song. So festive! This is 2 coats over Illamasqua “Load.”
“Sign Your “X” On The Line” is a champagne gold glitter with bits of silver shredded glitter. Now, THIS! So stunning. Easily a new favorite gold glitter for me. I love love love champagne gold glitter. It looks so classy to me. I decided to do a little bit of a Christmas “skittle” mani with this one when I wore it so I put it over Illamasqua “Load” and Deborah Lippmann ” My Old Flame.” It felt like a gold glitter embossed version of Santa’s suit! Seriously in love with it! This is 2 coats.
