Girly Bits: Holiday 2015 Holiday Magic Collection Swatches & Review
Hello hello! Today I have another holiday collection. This one comes to us from Girly Bits! There is lots of fun stuff to see in this post, including some nail art stamping so let’s get right to the goodies!
“Blazing Yule Before Us” has a burnished gold base loaded with tons of golden flakes. I love that it’s still holiday themed while still being unique since it’s a little darker shade of gold. 2 coats.
“Love Your Elf” is a creamy cool-toned pink with lots of reflective silver shimmer. Great formula. Practically a one-coater which is amazing for a pale shade. I did 2 coats.
I also did a little stamping with this using Konad’s white stamping polish and MoYou London’s Enchanted 02 plate. This look will be great for the Spring!
“Sandy Claws” is a nude linear holo with pink shimmer and purple sparks. Beautiful and the purple sparks add just a little bit of uniqueness. Lovely. 2 coats.
“Don’t Tangle Your Tinsel” has holographic silver microglitter and shimmer in a clear base. These types of polish will never get old for me. Amazing. 2 coats.
For this little mani, I used UberChic’s Christmas-01 plate and Cirque Colors “The Devil Wears Cirque”.
“Jiminy Christmas” has a vibrant kelly green jelly base with tons of matching holographic microglitter and shimmer. This is everything. I don’t even have words. 2 perfect, sparkly coats.
“Jiminy Christmas” is a great polish to use with a Christmas tree design so I used UberChic’s Christmas-01 plate and Konad’s white stamping polish.
“Coal Dancer” has charcoal, navy and silver holographic glitter, microglitter and shimmer in a black jelly base. This is fabulous and sparkly and perfect for Christmas without being typical. 2 coats.
“Little Red Toque” has a perfect red creme base with shimmering gold microglitter and shimmer. GORGEOUS! It’s sparkly yet subtle. 2 coats.
For this stamping, I used MoYou London Festive 03 plate and again, Konad’s white stamping polish. Why do I suck at centering designs??? Haha! I’ll figure it out eventually.
“Blue Christmas” is a navy blue creme with slight dusty tendencies. It’s so creamy and opaque. It dries with a bit of a satin finish but I used top coat here like I do in all my swatches. 2 coats but it’s definitely a one-coater.
“No Peeking ‘Til 7AM” is a dark red crelly with strong brown undertones. Like a splotch of dried blood. I know that’s a gruesome description but it’s true and I love it! Haha! Very dark but you can easily see the red in the underbelly. 2 coats.
This collection is obviously fabulous! I love that it’s festively themed but not overly holiday-ish. Amazing formulas, pretty colors. A winning collection!
