OPI: Spring 2016 New Orleans Collection Swatches & Review
Hi everyone! I hope you are enjoying your week! Today’s post has more Spring goodness! This time hailing from OPI! Check it out!
“Crawfishin’ For A Compliment” is a dusky-toned peachy sherbet orange creme. It’s a bit on the thin side so I did 3 thin coats here to prevent pooling.
“Humidi-Tea” is a shimmery nude with a mixture of pink, blue and silver shimmers. I actually like this much more than I thought I would but it doesn’t really like me back. It really brings out the reddness in my skin tone. Other than that, it’s really beautiful and I envy those that can wear it well! 2 coats.
“Suzi Nails New Orleans” is a sweet girly pink creme. Amazing formula. 2 coats.
“Let Me Bayou A Drink” is a pale milky pink with tons of silver, pink and green shimmer. Welp, this is amazing. 2 perfect coats!
“Take A Right On Bourbon” is a silvery-gold frosty chrome. You all know by now, I don’t like these types of polishes. This is no different. There will be some of you that will like this but that person is not me. 2 coats.
“Got Myself Into A Jam-balaya” is a perfect coral creme. Love love love this. 2 perfect coats.
“I’m Sooo Swamped!” is a pretty medium Spring green creme. It’s perfect. I surprisingly don’t have many of shades like this in my stash. 2 coats.
“Show Us Your Tips!” is a semi-sheer periwinkle with silver, pink and blue glass fleck. It builds up really well in 2 coats and is so pretty. It reminds me of some of the polishes from the Holland Collection like “I Have A Herring Problem”. Love.
“Rich Girls & Po-Boys” is a gorgeous slightly dusty medium blue creme. This blue is everything. So perfect and pretty. 2 coats.
“She’s A Bad Muffuletta!” is a warm creamy red with slight pink undertones. Some might see it as more of dark pink with really strong red undertones. It’s so awesome… totally a winning color in my book either way. It dries a bit darker on the nail. 2 coats.
“I Manicure For Beads” is a red-toned purple creme. Beautiful! I love this shade of purple! 2 coats of perfection! Side note, I could see there being separation issues here. You can see it already started to separate here (see the bottom of the bottle) but it’s likely it will shake back up well.
“Spare Me A French Quarter?” is a darkened but bright berry pink creme. Love love love. Great color and formula here. 2 coats. Again, possible separation problem here as well but I imagine it will shake back up.
I’m loving this collection! OPI can just keep these collections coming as far as I’m concerned. SO GOOD! I will try to get some comparisons done if I can!
