Pahlish: February 2016 The Wicked Years Duo & There Is A Song Collection Swatches & Review

Posted on Feb 18, 2016

Hello friends! Today’s post features 2 collections from Pahlish! The first is their duo for the month of February and the second is the There Is A Song Collection! Let’s get right to the polishes!

The Wicked Years Duo

“Mother Yackle” is a pretty lavender crelly. It dries a little more blue-toned that it appears in the bottle and also gets darker with top coat which was a bit odd. Great formula and it dries with a really squishy and shiny finish. 2 coats.

“The Grimmerie” has iridescent, lilac and holographic gold glitter and shimmer mixed with multichrome flakies in a clear base. The glitter requires a bit of dabbing but it relatively easy to manipulate. I did one dabbed coat over “Mother Yackle”.

There Is A Song Collection

“Hello Sweetie” has a pale purple crelly base with purple and blue shimmer and silver flakes. This polish is making me excited for Spring. So perfect and cute and reminding me a bit of HARE polish’s Pegasus but the 2.0 version. 2 coats.

“Impossible Astronaut” has a pale taupe crelly base with tiny golden flakies and a subtle scattered holographic effect. Perfect formula. 2 coats.

“Stormcage” has a blackened purple jelly base with silver, blue, pink and purple flakies. Squish city! I was surprised at the opacity in just 2 coats. It’s a little on the thick side but not in a bad way. 2 coats.

“Melody Malone” has a dusky purple creme base with gold and pink shimmer. This polish is the exact reason I love dusty shades. It’s so gorgeous! 2 coats, perfection.

“Spoilers” has a dark oxblood jelly base with white and silver flakies that take on different hues against the base. So much depth and vamp in this polish. Good formula here. 3 coats.

“Singing Towers” has a dark brown jelly base with lots of multichrome and copper flakies. Love this moody darling. 3 thin coats here.

This collection, as well as the duo can be purchased through Pahlish’s shop! They are available for purchase now! Make sure to follow Pahlish on Facebook & Instagram to keep up to date on restocks. They will also share their new collections there too!
