Pretty Serious Cosmetics: Halloween 2015 Naileontology & Well Meaning But Ultimately Quite Awkward Goth Pet Names Collections Swatches & Review

Hello! Now that the holidays are over, I feel I’m safe to backtrack a few months and share some belated Halloween swatches with you! These polishes come to us from Pretty Serious Cosmetics. It’s actually 2 collections. The first is the Well Meaning But Ultimately Quite Awkward Goth Pet Names Collection (say that 10 times fast…) and the second is the Halloween 2015 Naileontology Collection! Let’s take a look.

Well Meaning But Ultimately Quite Awkward Goth Pet Names Collection

“Pumpkin Head” is a bright yellow-toned orange crelly. Love this orange shade so much! I knew I’d have to have it the minute I saw it. 2 coats.

“Baron Von Bootiful” is a dusky teal creme. So amazing. Totally up my alley. It’s a one-coater but I did 2 out of habit.

“Darkling Squishy” is a deep evergreen creme. Beautifully creamy. 2 coats.

“Gloomy Kitty” is a pretty plum creme. 2 flawless coats.

Halloween 2015 Naileontology

“Fossil Of The Death Worm” has black and orange microglitter with sparse orange bar glitters in a clear base. Unfortunately, the bar glitters are curly in here. :/ But, they are sparse enough that you could pick them out and still wear the polish comfortably so that’s a plus! I did one coat over “Pumpkin Head”.

“Baphomet’s Berserker” has a black crelly base with green, orange, lime and blue iridescent glitters. It’s a bit on the thick side and a slight pain to apply. 2 coats.

“The Singing Seed” has gold and green microglitter with short gold bars in a clear base. The bar glitters in here are much more manageable and not curly so I’m liking it much better! One coat over “Darkling Squishy”.

The cremes are without a doubt the winners for me. They are GORGEOUS and the formula is amazing on each one. The glittery polishes are a hit or miss. I really like “Fossil Of The Death Worm” but the curly glitter bums me out. “The Singing Seed” is my favorite of the three!
