Rescue Beauty Lounge: Spongebob Collection
Hey all! I can finally say that I own the whole Spongebob Collection from RBL! They recently did their Bring It Back 4 event where they bring back some polishes that have been sold out (they don’t restock an item once it is sold out.) Starfish Patrick was a member of the launch this time around and now I own all three polishes from the collection!
“Bikini Bottom” is the polish that started my love for sheer polishes. Before it, I hated sheer polishes and would never buy them. Now, I’m a big fan! There is something so nice about a delicate sheer polish from time to time. This one has the prettiest pale blue base with just a slight hint of green to it. The formula is spot on. So smooth and buttery. It applies like a dream. I might be able to get it opaque in 4 coats but I like how it looked at 3 coats even with the slight VNL (visible nail line.)
“Square Pants” is a soft baby chick yellow with a very subtle and hidden microshimmer. This polish is so cute! It reminds me of a baby shower or Easter or springtime. Just adorable. This formula and opacity on this one is the same as “Bikini Bottom.” So smooth and easy to use. This is 3 coats.
And “Starfish Patrick”… my little bottle of happiness! You complete me. ♥ It’s the perfect coral-y orange, not to orange but not too pink. Sometimes I look at it and can’t really decided whether to qualify it as a coral or an orange. It’s walks a beautiful line between the two. This one is more opaque than the others and the formula is a bit thicker as well, but still nice and easy to use. It reminds me of coral colored milk glass, if their is such a thing. This is 2 coats.
Fortunately for you guys, they are all in stock right now, but like I said, once they are sold out, they are gone for good (unless it’s decided to bring them back sometime in the future, but there are no guarantees that it will happen.)
