Milani: Enchanted Garnet Swatches & Review

Provided For Review

Hi gals! Just a quick little midday post for you featuring a single pretty polish from Milani’s Color Statement Collection!

“Enchanted Garnet” has loads of burgundy and red shimmer in a black jelly base. Nice formula. This one reminds me a bit of OPI “German-icure”. Very pretty and has a gothic feel. I did 2 coats.

“Mint Crush” is a dusty pale blue creme with minty undertones. Decent formula if you use a light and steady hand. I was able to get it evened out in 2 coats.

Hello everyone. Today I have part one of Milani’s new Color Statement Collection for you. This first half contains the pinks and reds of the collection. There are tons of swatches to show you so let’s get right to it!

“Mauving Forward” is a bruise-y colored mauve creme. Shades like these are my absolute favorite. I could wear them for the rest of my life. So classy and timeless. This one has a great formula. Easy to use and spread on the nail and could be a one-coater but, I did 2 out of habit.

Milani: Texture Collection

So, I’ve been so enthralled by the texture trend that is all the rage so far this year. I was completely surprised by how much I liked it when I first tried it with OPI’s Liquid Sand polishes from the Mariah Carey Collection. So when I spotted these a few weeks back at a local store, I was once again intrigued. Of course, I had to get them all so I could show you guys the entire collection. :)

Just so I don’t end up being repetitive, I will start off by saying that the texture on all of these is similar to a smooth but textured wall. You can tell it’s bumpy but it’s not bothersome. I actually didn’t mind it at all. It doesn’t feel the same as when you put on a hungry glitter without topcoat and you just end up wanting to pick it like crazy. (Or at least, I do…)

“Aqua Splash” is a an aqua blue polish with texture. This one was difficult to spread evenly. It’s also a bit sheer. With the 2 coats I used, you can see a bit of VNL. I do like the shade of aqua but the formula is kind of a let down for me.
