Undie Saturday!
Another Undie Saturday again here on Peachy Polish! (Totally just read that back in a cheesy radio DJ’s voice. Hah!) These are the polishes I used as “undies” on my swatches this week.
Cult Nails “Annalicious” is a super silky orange toned red with gold shimmer. Such a bright red and so buttery. It just melts right onto the nail. 2 coats.
OPI “Catch Me In Your Net” is bright teal green foil. This is one of those beauties that has sooooo many dupes that you don’t necessarily need the OPI version since it’s somewhat hard to find. But when someone tells me something is hard to find, it makes me want it more and luckily I found this one day on a dusty hunt. Of course I snatched it right up. This one was a bit on the sheer side so this is 3 coats.
OPI “Did It On Em” is a yellow toned lime green creme. So slimy lookin’. I love it. :) 3 coats to cover some patchy spots.
OPI “Into The Night” is a midnight blue metallic. This glows in person. 2 coats.
Sation “Miss Emo Shun All” is a bright, almost neon blue toned purple. It’s more bright than the photo shows. The formula on this is no bueno. Very sticky and hard to work with. It required a lot of patience and clean-up. This is 2 thick coats, and the thick coats were not by choice.
Sparitual “Optical Illusion” is a swampy green with glass fleck. Perfect for Halloween! It’s very similar to China Glaze “Zombie Zest” from their 2011 Halloween Collection, so if you can’t find ZZ, this may be a good alternative. This is pretty darn sheer. This is 4 coats and you could still see a little bit of VNL (visible nail line) in real life.
Dior “Orchid” was an exclusive for Nordstrom during their 2012 Semi-Annual Sale, so I don’t believe it’s available anymore. It’s a dark grape-y purple with red undertones and a very very slight hidden shimmer. I’ve worn this a couple of times but can never capture it completely true to color. It’s more red toned than pictured (more like what you see in the bottle.) 2 coats.
Essie “She’s Picture Perfect” is a light periwinkle that leans purple with light pink and purple shimmer. Very delicate and great formula. 2 coats.
