Hi guys! Today I have something new to the blog! Water decals! These ones are by the Wrap Artist. I’ve never had the chance to try out water decals before but I’ve always been intrigued by them. I was happy to finally get the chance to try them out!

I got 4 sets of the water decals and I decide to try the gothic and weapon themed gold ones! The first set I used came with gold rib cages (in different sizes), skull & crossbones, beetles, anatomical hearts, snakes, fish skeletons, spiders, hummingbirds and a spine and the other set I used had gold weapons like hand guns, rifles, knives, grenades and also handcuffs. Another one had silver sunburst aztec-style designs. The last set had strips of black geometric designs.

The decals were extremely easy to put on. You cut out the design you like and dip it in water (I used a pair of nail art tweezers to hold the paper.) Once it’s been in the water for 20 seconds, take it out and the backing should slip right off and you are left with your decal on a thin clear sheet. Quickly apply the decal to polished (and dry) nails. Once you’ve placed it where you want, simply apply a top coat and ta-da! You have an awesome, high quality design on your nails with barely any effort. I decided to use the rib cages and guns over OPI “Miss Piggy’s Big Number” for my design!

I think these are going to be my new go-to thing when I want a fun mani but I don’t have a lot of time. They were so extremely simple to use and you could do so many fun things with them. I can’t wait to try out other designs!
