Zoya: Fall 2016 Urban Grunge Collection Swatches & Review

Posted on Aug 26, 2016

Happy happy Friday folks! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! I will be fitting in as much as I can because the next 2 weekends I will be out of town for my brother’s wedding festivities and I need to get everything in order! I’m so excited, I have my future sister-in-law’s bachelorette party next weekend, lots of family coming into town and of course wedding preparation and the weekend thereafter! You won’t hear much from me during that week since I’ll be away, but I’ll be posting up until the end of next week and will be back with regular posts on September 12th. September… can you believe it… it seems like it should still be Spring!

Anyway, onto the fun stuff! I have the latest collection from Zoya to share will you today!

Noah is a nudey taupe creme. 2 coats.

August is a blue-toned concrete gray creme. It dries a little bit darker than it appears in the bottle. 2 coats.

Wyatt is a brightened hunter green creme. 2 coats.

Mallory is an intensely pigmented blue that is halfway between cyan and cobalt. 2 coats but it’s a one-coater.

Tara is a deep plum creme. 2 coats.

Courtney is a deep garnet crelly. 2 coats.

Troy is an ultra foiled gunmetal with warm shimmer. It’s a one-coater but I did 2 here.

Alicia is a metallicy silver with a scattered holographic effect and a strong golden sheen. 2 coats alone but you could also layer it over a base color if you prefer.

Britta is a vibrant magenta metallic with caramel, pink and blue shimmer. 2 coats but it’s a one-coater again.

Merida is a squishy emerald crelly with scattered holographic flakies 2 coats.

Finley is a cool-toned deep amethyst crelly with scattered holographic flakies. 2 coats.

Ash is a pinky-toned red with golden shimmer and strong magenta sheen. 2 coat but once again a one-coater!

Overall: I was surprised to find I actually like the second half of this collection the most (the non-creme shades.) Usually, cremes are my jam and end up being my favorites but not this time. Alicia is absolutely incredible and hands-down my favorite of the entire collection. It doesn’t look like much in the bottle or in photos but on the nail it is heaven! I can already picture myself wearing it a lot when Winter is here. It’s absolutely gorgeous. Merida and Finley are favorites too, as well as Wyatt because I love my a good green creme in the Fall.

Zoya polishes can be purchased on their website and at Ulta, as well as other E-tailers and retailers! These are available for purchase now! Zoya puts on some great promotions so make sure you follow them on Instagram and Facebook to keep tabs on the deals!
