All That Glitters: 2012 Holiday, Celebrate! Collection

Posted on Dec 19, 2012

Good evening ladies and gents! Today I’ve got swatches of All That Glitters’ Holiday, Celebrate! Collection for 2012. I’m really excited to show you these beauties so let’s get right to it!

“Autumn Bomb” has orange, green and brown glitter in mini squares, hexes, mini hexes and microglitter in a clear base. Autumn bomb it is! Great glitter suspension, great glitter pickup and the glitter is very dense. This is 1 coat over OPI “Off With Her Red.”

“Cool Yule” has a creamy light blue base with holographic turquoise, royal blue and lilac hex glitter throughout. I love this one. It has a great formula and I love how wintery it looks. This 2 coats over Color Club “Sheer Disguise.”

“Eggnog Wasted” has red and orange mini hexes, green bars and gold micro glitter in a creamy off-white base. It’s hard to pick my favorite out of all of these but this is definitely in the top 3! Great formula and glitter pickup. I think it’s unique in the fact that it doesn’t have a pure white base. Very eggnog-y. :P This is 2 coats alone.

“Goody Gum Drops” is a nice change-up from the typical holiday themed polishes! It has cyan blue, kelly green, purple and red hexes and purple microglitter in a bubblegum pink base. This reminds me of Candy Land or something! Love it. This is 2 coats on it’s own.

“Killer Icicle” has iridescent hexes and microglitter in a shimmery light silver base. This is normally something that would be right up my alley but I think it’s a little too frosty for my taste. The glitter pickup wasn’t quite as easy on this once as the others. It was pretty difficult to get the hexes out. I like the idea of this one, it just wasn’t my most favorite. This is 2 coats over China Glaze “Recycle.”

“Lights In The Night” has gold star, bar, hex and mini hex glitter in a super shimmery royal blue base. This one, this one, this one!!! So much better in person. From the first brushstroke, it was love! This one is incredible. Great color combo, great glitter pickup and suspension. This is 2 coats over China Glaze “Man Hunt.”

“Pinch of Grinch” has red and green hex, gold star and silver and red glitter in a olive green base with a strong kelly green shimmer. The name of this one is perfect! Another one with great glitter pickup and suspension. I expected this to look far more olive green than it ended up looking on the nail so I think I picked the wrong base here. The kelly green shimmer really came out once it was on. This is 2 coats over OPI “Uh-Oh Roll Down The Window.” (Ick, I hate that name.)

“Spotty Dottie Holiday” is the holiday version of All That Glitters’ Spotty Dottie Light and Dark. Those were the first 2 polishes that turned me onto All That Glitters, so of course I love this one. It has super sparkly red and green glitter in multiple sizes of hex glitter, bar glitter, and microglitter in a clear base. The epitome of the holidays. This is 2 coats over OPI “Goldeneye.”

“What The Elf?” has white square glitter and green, red and pink hexes in a black jelly base. Or at least I think it’s a black jelly base. I can’t tell if it’s a really dark eggplant jelly base or is actually black… anyway, such an interesting choice in glitter. I like how different it is although I do feel like the white squares are a bit random. This is 2 coats over Essie “Licorice.”

These polishes are available now in All That Glitters’ Etsy shop. Don’t forget to follow All That Glitters on Facebook and Instagram for shop news and updates!
