Chaos & Crocodiles: Once Upon A Unicorn Collection & Dreaming of Dragons Series Part 2 Swatches & Review

Have you ever wanted to float off to a magical land full of unicorns and mermaids and candy and rainbows and castles and dragons? If so, your in for a real treat today. While swatching these new polishes from Chaos & Crocodiles and again while working on this post, I felt like I was bouncing on clouds through rainbows, watching all the cute little creatures below me play and I felt so happy! Aaaah. :) If only such a magical place were real. Since it’s not, you can live vicariously through the polishes in today’s post!

Once Upon A Unicorn Collection

“Tropical Candy Flowers” is a muted coral with a linear holographic effect and subtle pink and gold shimmer. This is a very unique shade. It’s a littled muted, a little burnt, a little pink, a little orange AND a little red. You can’t really pin it down! Lovely. 2 coats.

“Forgotten Paths” is a perfectly pinky-toned nude with a linear holographic effect and subtle gold shimmer. This is just… ahh! Perfection. I can’t handle it. I’ll be wearing this a lot since pinky nudes are some of my faves! 2 coats but it’s a one-coater.

“Unicorn Symphony” is a muted aqua with a linear holographic effect and subtle turquoise shimmer. Every time I look at this polish, I feel like I have mermaid fingers! How cute would this be for an Ariel inspired mani! The most stunning shade! 2 coats.

“City In The Clouds” is a darkened sky blue with a linear holographic effect and subtle silver shimmer. I’m feeling like a broken record with these beauties… this is just awesome. Such a gorgeous shade. 2 coats.

“Spun Sugar Magic” is a dusty lilac (with almost a mauve-y undertone) with a linear holographic effect and subtle purple shimmer. So obsessed! This is absolutely glorious. 2 coats.

“Wishing Star Sky” is a darkened cool-toned purple-almost-periwinkle linear holo with blue shimmer. Honestly, this collection… I can’t handle it. This is another color that’s hard to pin down! Quite a unique flower. 2 coats.

Dreaming Of Dragons Series Part 2

“Dragon Stories” is a dark blue-toned purple with a scattered holographic shimmer and magenta/purple/blue multichrome flakies. Vampy and gorgeous. 2 easy breezy coats.

“Dragon Parties” has scattered holo shimmer and a rainbow of color-shifting flakies in a navy-almost-black base. It’s amazing how dark this is and yet you can still see all the pretty colors peeking out from the base. 2 coats.

“Under The Topiaries” has multichrome flakies that shift from emerald green to olive to pink to beige in a clear base. The name fits this so well! 3 coats alone on the pointer and middle fingers and 2 coats over black on the ring and pinkie.

“Quest” has multichrome flakies that shift from copper to gold to green to fuchsia in a clear base. Another beautiful flakie polish from C&C. Just stunning. 3 coats alone on the pointer and middle fingers and 2 coats over black on the ring and pinkie.

“Castle Guardian” has multichrome flakies that shift from teal to green to purple to fuchsia in a clear base. It takes your breath away. Fantastic. 3 coats alone on the pointer and middle fingers and 2 coats over black on the ring and pinkie.

These polishes will be available Sunday, March 29th on their website! I’m not sure of the exact time yet but I will update this post when I know. You’re not going to want to miss out on these! I love them all but the Once Upon A Unicorn Collection is ESPECIALLY a must have.
