China Glaze: Texture Collection

I Bought This!

Hi there! Sorry I have been so light on the postings lately. I have just been so busy lately! I usually do my swatching on the weekend, but my weekends have been booked up! Hopefully I’ll get back to more posting when it calms down a bit. For now, I hope you will be satisfied with the 3ish postings a week. :/

Before we get to the post, I just wanted to note that I have a new page on the navigation bar at the top of the blog titled “Survey.” I’m trying to get a better snapshot of my blog readers and would love for you to take a second to fill it out. It’s only 8 questions and literally takes a minute. Each question is completely optional and confidential too! Click here to fill it out!

Alright, now for the important stuff… I have the China Glaze Texture Collection to show you! These are the brightest textured polishes I have tried so far! They are also the most matte that I’ve tried and they truly look like flat latex paint on a wall. And guess what…. I love them! Check out the swatches below!

“Bump & Grind” is a saturated raspberry pink. Think China Glaze “Heli-Yum” (one of my favorite CG’s!) but textured! Gorgeous color and application was breezy. 2 coats.

“In The Rough” is a light pistachio green. Love this color so much! It’s bordering on chartreuse which I love! 2 easy coats.

“Itty, Bitty & Gritty” is a coral polish that leans to the pink side of coral. What a pain to photograph! It’s not as bright as it appears here and the brightness is making it appear orange, which it is not (at least this is the way I’m seeing it on my computer screen.) Some of the other pictures I took turned out way too pink so this is as close as I could get it! It is a gorgeous color in real life and has a great formula. 2 coats.

“Of Coarse!” is a nice bright blue. I can’t stop thinking of the Cookie Monster when I see this color! It looks like the exact shade of his fur! 2 coats.

“Toe-tally Textured” is a bright pumpkin orange. Bahhhhh! I love this so so so so much! I can’t even tell you how much. It’s the most textured of the bunch too which makes me happy! It is a little more troublesome to apply because of the texture overload but not impossible. 2 coats!

“Unrefined” is a light bubblegum-like pink with slight lilac undertones. Very runny so beware of pooling! I suggest wiping off your brush “stem” (for lack of a better word; the part between the brush and black cap) before you start polishing and use thin coats. That being said, it’s still really opaque in just 2 coats!

China Glaze can be purchased at tons of different places including Ulta, Sally Beauty, Transdesign and lots of other retailers and E-tailers.
