CrowsToes: Her Goose Got Cooked

Everyone say hello to one of my most favorite mani’s of all time. This is 1 coat of CrowsToes “Her Goose Got Cooked” over 2 coats of OPI “My Very First Knockwurst.” I was THISCLOSE to not getting HGGC. I am so thankful I ended up buying it because… WOW. The glitter combination in this is soft yet bold (how that’s possible, I don’t know, it just… is) and it is extremely sparkly and holographic. The glitter was perfectly suspended in the bottle, had the perfect amount of glitter payoff and glitter pickup was a breeze. There isn’t enough words in the dictionary to explain my love for this. I love it so much that I decided it deserves it’s very own solo post.

As for OPI “My Very First Knockwurst”, consider me a nude polish convert. I never liked the way nude polishes looked on my hands. There was always something just off about it but I couldn’t quite put my finger (pun intended! :) ) on what it was. Then I reluctantly bought MVFK, after telling myself for months that I didn’t need yet another nude that I would never wear. But, EUREKA! I finally figured out why all those other nudes looked whack on me… they all had yellow undertones. This one has pink undertones. Voila, my perfect nude. I didn’t get a swatch of MVFK on it’s own, but I’m sure I will be wearing it A LOT in the future, so look for that in an upcoming blog post. In the meantime, continue on and swoon over this mani. I know I did… for 3 whole days. I know right? Shocking! :)

This last photo was an accident but can you see how sparkly it is, even in low light!? If this picture doesn’t convince you of this polish’s greatness then you might not have a pulse. Or maybe you just don’t like glittery polish. If that’s the case, then what the “holo” hell is wrong with you!? Hehe!
