Deborah Lippmann: Summer 2014 80s Rewind Collection Swatches & Review
Hi guys! I couldn’t wait to post these swatches a second longer so say hello to Deborah Lippmann’s new collection for Summer!
“Whip It” is a blue-toned medium pink crelly. It has a divinely squishy finish. 2 coats.
“Don’t Stop Believin'” is an amazing red-toned bright orange creme. I always forget how much I love orange cremes. I adore this one! 2 coats.
“Walking On Sunshine” is a bright yellow creme. Not too shabby a formula for a yellow polish! Streaky on the first coat but evened nicely out on the second coat. I recommend only doing the 3-stroke approach to applying polish because if you go over it again, the brush will drag the polish and create bald spots and streaking. I did 2 coats.
“She Drives Me Crazy” is a gorgeous blue-toned green creme, a bright teal! I thought this was a dupe for Butter London “Slapper” when I put it on but it’s not. “Slapper” is more blue-toned. The good thing about SDMC compared to “Slapper” is that SDMC doesn’t stain! WHOO HOO! This polish is insanely gorgeous! 2 coats.
“Video Killed The Radio Star” is a bright cyan blue creme. This polish is crazy amazing. Quite possibly my new favorite blue! LOVE! It didn’t photograph as bright as it is in real life. But take my word for it… it’s awesome! 2 coats.
“Maniac” is a red-toned grape-y purple creme. Gorgeous, flawless polish. I did 2 coats.
Deborah Lippmann Polishes can be purchased at a number of places including Deborah Lippmann’s website, Nordstrom, Neiman Marcus, Barney’s, Holt Renfrew, Ulta and plenty of online retailers.
